This is our final journey from Helsinki to Delhi and in this vlog we have shown some important things to do before Finland and travel rules and restrictions as on May 2023. As shown in our previous vlogs, we have been spending last days in Finland with our friends and in this vlog also we have shown how we said the final good bye to them.
Things to do before leaving Finland:
1) DVV deregistration : This is to notify Finland population system that you are moving permanently from Finland. Below is the link where you can submit permanent address change request and the same will be reflected in DVV system:

2) Tax Settlement : This is to notify Finland Tax office (vero.fi) that you are moving abroad permanently and if you are expecting Tax Return in future so you need to update new Bank Account details of new country. This is offline process and you need to submit a form with your new bank account details to Tax office so that if there is any tax return for you, it will be transferred to your new account number.
3) Close Bank Account : If you are moving permanently then it is good to clear your bank account first and then close it before moving abroad.
