@@Dance-lj5rp They're going out of their way to make their own child stand out (and it's all based on the parent's money and craftiness, not the child's efforts, mind you). It reeks of wealth and attention-seeking to me. You mind fight it cute and fun. That's fine. But I can see a divide between lower middle class and upper middle class when I see things like this in the classroom. It's just my opinion.

Oha, mir ist erst beim Durchlesen der Kommentare aufgefallen, dass es ein Geschenk für den Valentinstag sein soll. 😮 Bei uns schenkt man zum Valentinstag allerhöchstens dem Menschen etwas, den man wirklich liebt. Aber auch nicht seinen Kindern oder seinen Eltern, obwohl man diese natürlich auch liebt. Man würde nicht auf die Idee kommen der ganzen Klasse auch nur eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit zu geben. Es ist nur für einen ganz besonderen Menschen bestimmt. Mein Mann und ich, wir schenken uns noch nicht mal etwas an Valentinstag (aber wir machen immer etwas romantisches zusammen).

@@meitekumaul3107 Okay, I hope this is able to translate back to your language😅but aw that is so interesting!! it is definitely very different here in the U.S., everyone is kind of involved in the day. Kids usually get candy from classmates at school and maybe a gift from their parents, and in the evening thats when you see most people on dates and such. I do see how this could be seen as strange in other countries haha thats such an interesting cultural difference!

Cool! Anyways, here a brownie recipe. Ingredients: - cup of unsalted butter -2 cups of granulated sugar -4 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract -1/2 cup all-purpose flour - 1/2 cup cocoa powder -1/4 teaspoon salt -(optional) 1 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips Instructions: 1. Preheat oven 350F (175C) and grease a baking pan 2. Melt 1 cup butter, mix with 2 cup sugar 3. Add 4 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; mix well 4. Sift in 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, and 1/4 teaspoon salt; stir (Optional) add 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips. 5. Pour into the pan, bake for 25-30 mins 6. Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy your brownie.

ANYWAYS here's a recipe for brownies 5 tablespoons (71 grams) unsalted butter 11/4 cups (249 grams) granulated sugar 2 large eggs plus 1 yolk, cold 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup of vegetable oil 3/4 cups (75 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup (63 grams) all-purpouse flour 1/8 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon baking soda 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup (128 grams) semisweet chocolate chips 😸 enjoy!!!

I would’ve been so embarrassed if my mom put my face on Valentine’s to give to people. Like when your friend would give you one of their school pictures or family photos to give out with their valentines and they were always embarrassed and you’d see their mom talking to them later like “why didn’t you give out your valentines😠” not saying it’s all situations but that’s definitely how me and a lot of my peers felt growing up.

Actually, no. This is for the child to make, not the mom. I know moms that interfere like this. It starts out innocent enough but then it never ends. Constantly trying to out-cute the other moms. Homecoming Queen turns into the spotlight being on them, not their daughters. The grown kids are in their 20’s now and can’t function easily on their own. 😢😮😢
