A huge difference in putting between college golfers and professional golfers.

Only 10 guys out of the entire College field can shoot under par. This course exposes a majpr weakness in the American Bomb and Gouge approach to golf. It doesn't work on Links courses, or when there is a lot of wind, and it definitely doesn't work on dry, firm tracks either. It is the reason why Americans sometimes struggle at Open Championships and why Europe smashes the US in Ryder Cups at home. These guys keep trying to fly the ball to the hole and expect it to stop. It's insanity how they continue to do it, despite continual evidence that the greens aren't holding. They simply aren't comfortable playing the ball along the ground and hitting shots. The women can do it, but the men obviously can't keep their egos in check.
