im gonna miss this show :( i came for lisa, got surprised by kun, and impressed with jony j and ella. i never imagined that i would get attached to the trainees, but i did. laughed when they were having the girls talk, crying when my favorites got eliminated, and cheered for the ones that made it. thenine is my first produce group (including kpop and jpop) that i have ever stanned, and i now understand why people are so attached to these shows. this performance made me cry, and i dont regret it. these girls worked so hard, and this is the final stage before they continue onto a new chapter of their lives. i really look forward to their music and growth over these next eighteen months! on an unrelated note, i personally love jenny zeng, meddhi fu, zhang yu, frahmn shangguan, zoe wang, nineone, esther yu, and k lu.

I never thought Chinese reality shows could be this fancy and elegant. YWY is the first Chinese produced show I have watched in my entire life. Never I have thought that they could rival with Hollywood's awards shows. Btw, Lisa would have been glad seeing all these girls are smiling and dancing with feelings. Although the dance was not all put together probably because it was shot live and the lights were too bright but the girls enjoyed the performance. I think that's what matters most♥️ I'd personally love for the consistent top 9 to be in the final line up but the other girls in top 20 also deserve to be in the final line up.

when i watched this performance, i felt that i am a proud mom but... * i am only 16.*

I just can't get enough of this show and its amazingly talented contestants. What made this show so different from the previous idol competitions in Korea is that there was almost equal screen time for most trainees. Because of this, we were able to see the who the really talented ones are. There are no dramas pitting the girls against each other. Instead, it showed how they're encouraging and being supportive of each other. It showcased women empowerment by trying to break through the gender roles and stereotypes that girls have to be pretty and feminine. We saw how the contestants are so confident and driven to reach their dream, and for me, it's just really touching. It was just an overall good environment, from what I've seen. I believe that even those who didn't make it will get their time to shine as well (Fhrann and Aria Jin didn't make it, but honestly, the line-up is so good, I don't know who to replace them with. RIGHT RIGHT?!) Lastly, the camera worksmanship here is really good!

first competition show i've ever kept up with, and first finale i've ever set my alarm clock to wake up early in the morning to livestream. this is also my first step into the cpop world and i'm so happy to have had this to get me through quarantine! i wish the best to all the trainees in their future paths, and congrats to THE NINE! i have no doubt liu xin will be the perfect center and lead these girls to be the best they can be! lets hope iQiyi gives them a lot of promotions and comebacks (heard that nine percent didn't get that much)....anywho JIAYOU!!!!!!!
