+Nathan Huynh There will definitely be a retrojet theme. US Airways has been very good with that. In this merger, US Airways had acquired American Airlines and will continue the US Airways culture.

You will be missed, US Airways! My company treated me very well with allowing me the honor to be on this final flight, I am forever grateful! US has given me a fantastic opportunity and career, and I hope that AA will continue to do well for me, as I will be doing my best everyday for it! I was SHOCKED to see MY FACE as the thumbnail image to this video! Very cool!

+nankervisj That morning, I flew from my home airport RDU to PHL on an E190, and then PHL-SFO on an A321. Then late that evening, joined US1939 on the final leg SFO-PHL on an A321 tail number N152UW.

I am so proud to have flown more than 50 times on the LGA to DCA route using US Airways A320's... the merger really gave AA a unique position in the East Coast since AA basically has presence in JFK, PHL, CLT, DCA, LGA, BOS and MIA. I wish someday I could work for the pride of American aviation... AMERICAN AIRLINES/US AIRWAYS

This looked like a fun event. I wish I rode the final US Airways flight. Although, I'm glad that US Airways and American Airlines merged because if they didn't, we could've lost both companies. That would've lead to extremely high airfares and a major reduction in competition. Thank you US Airways for saving American Airlines. Although you don't exist anymore, I am glad that American Airlines will be a global competitor to Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. Here's to many successful years of the NEW AMERICAN AIRLINES!!!!

yeah i was on flight 507 yesterday with the new american livery on a us A320 and the flight attendents were wearing us uniforms and the interior was the same. i went on the same plane a few weeks before the last flight and the interior was the exact same

I had a first and last experience on U.S Airways In September of 2010 and felt such a heartfelt connection and love for the former airline because I loved my experience and I loved the flight attendants that were onboard and especially the Captains of the two special flights that took… the first one to Charlotte and the next one to Alabama and two days later my flight back… I never wanted to leave that experience or the jet when I got back to the L.V.I.A airport and I love American Airlines too but I feel heartbroken every time I realize that U.S Airways is no more I mean I wish I could fly one more time on a former U.S Airways jet and ever since my first and last flight over 13 years ago I’ve been trying to find a way to let these former U.S Airways Captains and flight attendants know of this deep connection and love that I feel for that former airline… U.S Airways and now American Airlines… I love you guys that why I miss y’all so much💞✈️

I flew a Philadelphia - Denver round trip last August. Had US Airways scheme out and new American scheme home. I like the US one better since it has a lot of blue tones which go better with the sky.

they didn't change over the whole livery, the flights are coded AA but the livery hasn't all been painted. astronomical expense to do that on planes that don't need it.
