I know it was ton of money, but honestly I do not regret it because that car was the one that began this channel and the car that would bring me a lot of knowledge behind cars. BeDistinct the best things in life are the things that help you learn to do better. What really matters is what you think and feel about it, not what others think if you let others opinions affect you, you'll become miserable. You may have invested alot into it but you also got alot of knowledge through it. Just like going to school for mechanics. I'm hella proud of what you've accomplished my boi. Don’t sweat it bro, I’m currently at 5 grand initial price plus another 10 in restoration.. mine doesn’t look anywhere near as sick as the Gold G.. I just hadddd to have a 6MT tho lol... Can’t wait to see your new G when it’s done 👍🔥

I really appreciate your honesty in the beginning. I can't follow builds/channels where I can tell they're spending daddy's money. Anyone can pay shops to build them a car. But guys like you who do it piece by piece with your own money over years.... Big inspiration. We all feel a partnership with our cars on a daily basis, and to be aware of your journey and have builds we can reference....invaluable.

No oil leaks never on this golden G. And I am not entirely sure what it does, it has to do something with the pressure in the crankcase I believe but I i needed to install in order to get rid of my pcv hose that connected to my oem intake.

I went down that road years ago .. When I sold the car, I didn't get any money for the Mods...Mods are for your pleasure not to be considered an investment...From experience My advice is try to limit your Mods to what you really enjoy and avoid going to the internet and buy every aftermarket part available for your car...

My car came with Sport Suspension so I didn't replace the bars just the bushings with urethane. Also did the end links (Moog).I just installed the KYB Sport shocks. This car is not a race car for the track, but handles great for a daily driver and still has a comfortable ride. With my Michelin Pilots, the car can hang with the best without any embarrassment.

atlanta yeah, maybe that’s just me personally I’d just swap over stuff sell the other one stock with the wrap and cosmetics and save for a built engine and turbo setup.

Yeah they get expensive G. Even for a 01' honda civic carbon fiber trunk it costs $900 and wheels can go up to $3k depending on the brand. 😩

Yea, I bought the wheels very early on with this car before I know before reps and real wheels, so that’s the reasoning behind the wheels being super cheap but I llover the design and it has lasted me two years really good.
