After trading back-and-forth buckets in the final couple minutes, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made a fadeaway from the left corner to take the lead with under two seconds left. Jalen Brunson couldn’t connect on the game-winner and the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New York Knicks, 113-112. Jalen Williams (33 point on 14-18 FG, 8 assists, 4 rebounds) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (16 points, 3 assists) led the Thunder as Josh Giddey totaled 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists for his second triple-double of the year. Jalen Brunson led New York with 30 points and 7 assists while Miles McBride added 19 points. Oklahoma City moves to 52-22 as the Knicks fall to 44-30. The Thunder take over the top spot in the West with the win.
Giddey has now totaled 3 triple-doubles in 3 appearances at MSG in his career.

Sg looks injured still Brunson is overrated as h3ll. The refs gift wrapped this for ny kn(d)icks. Clearly housecooking tonight Brunson was fouling Dort all night and was getting away. It really looked like the refs were in nyk pocket. How Brunson got away with fouling Dort at the last 20 second of the game with a no call I don’t know. Clearly Dort didn’t even touch Brunson but Brunson offensive fouled Dort.

Spoiler Alert! There are 2 kinds of people: people who knew the score of the game before coming to KZfaq in hopes of seeing a fantastic ending feature, and people who didn't. The people who knew the score, obviously don't need it in the thumbnail b/c they already know it. The people who don't know the score, clearly don't want the outcome spoiled. Both kinds of people would be served equally well by not showing the score. Yet here we are, watching Big Basketball dink the dunk. And before all the NBA apologists get going, there's a reason none of the other sports leagues I follow begin their highlights with the final score. If I had to guess, I'd say the NBA brass did not make this decision and will put a stop to it once they become aware. Or maybe the NBA did the obvious thing and performed a simple market test by running some thumbnails with the score and some without to see which got more views, likes, comments, new viewers, etc... And maybe the thumbnails with the score won. In which case, I'm in the minority. Either way, it saved me 9 minutes today (10 minutes of highlights I won't be watching plus one minute to comment).

The Knicks homecooked that one good. *10x free throws. The refs did their best to gift wrap this game for the Knicks but when your team is hot trash you just find ways to lose

the reason thunder won was because soft ref called foul at 5:31 WHEN THERE WAS HARDLY ANY CONTACT soft ass refs AND AGAIN ANOTHER SOFT CALL AT 7:59 4 free throws for soft gambling refs AFTER ALL THIS SOFTNESS THEY ARENT CONSISTANT and give BRUNSON A NO CALL at 9:21 after a clear foul. IF the other two instances were fouls this should be a double foul SMH HE WAS CLEARLY SHOVED by the dude with the white headband trashy refs
