I am 62 and just tried to fill my generator in Florida. Impossible. Spils everywhere, dangerous. I have arthritis and cannot use this. Whoever made this did not test with the public. Thanks for nothing

I just bought one of these and it's the most boneheaded design yet. The first thing I did was cut off the childproof ring around the filler opening. I need to take out the stupid screen in the filler opening because why would you want to catch dirt when you are filling up and then dump the dirt into whatever you are putting gas in and finally the nozzle angle sucks for trying to put gas in anything besides a lawnmower and all the appendages on the spout get caught in the spout of the vehicle you are dumping gas in. And having to hold the valve open against the spring while you are dumping 5 gallons of fuel sucks too.

That spouts just as much crap as the others. Takes forever to fill anything other than a lawnmower or generator etc and not nearly as long as it should be.

I take the filler off and pour in via a long funnel. Works great that way.

No, that one is also garbage. Anything larger than a 2 gallon, you can't use two hands to hold the jug like you'd normally want to. Also, that cap is just going to stop working period on a couple of months. At least that's what mine did.

The one you say that's NOT absolutely garbage..........is GARBAGE. I have tossed them all. Any time the GOVT gets its say on design for safety reasons we digress.

About a year and a half ago when I finally figured out how these cans work, it was when I was trying to fill up the chainsaw with mix and I started pressing the hell out of random things on there trying to figure it out and then I pressed that little flap in hard and heard a loud “CLICK” I looked up and there was the green square piece flying through the air and all that was left was the green flap and and I tell you what, it was a lot easier to press in the trigger on that gas can after that 😂

sorry, but it’s terrible, it didn’t have the right angle to properly dispense gas into car (right side up and up side down both failed), which caused it to leak 1/3 of my expensive gas just to get the other 2/3 into the car tank, plus i bought it used with the instruction label faded off, so figuring out this NON-intuitive valve opening method is UX-atrocious… generally if there’s more than one step for simple products, then it’s garbage

I bough a gas can nozzle replacement kit off of Amazon because I have 6 modern cans and 1 working nozzle.

I store and transport with these, but have a universal fit retro flex simple nozzle for pouring. $8 Ace Hardware. These only work with a top cap device like a motorcycle, mower or generator. Absolutely useless for a car or other side cap...unless you get a flex funnel ..then it is better to just toss the cap and pour. Most of these are 3 handed pours. Two to handle the bulk of a 5 gal can and 1 to constantly F with the nozzle.

Sure if these are better than others but their crap in general. The gaskets will start deteriorating pretty quickly and there’s no vapor release. Go online and buy some quick fill nozzles instead

It's not that easy You have to push the bottom of the green thing. Tell them that you have to push on the bottom at the same time you put the pin in. It was a pain in the ass

I just bought one and locked it in the bed of the s10 truck.. someone takes my gas can a few times a year. Year after year.
