I’m sorry if I sounded rude or bashing the brand in this video but I wanted to clarify some points: Being honest is not brand bashing. If I sugar coat anything there would a set of people who would again say that this might be sponsored. I was being raw about my opinions. Secondly price point should not be a justification of mediocre quality. There are dollar brands like ELF, NYC and so many more which produce amazing quality at just a dollar, which is less than ₹99 too. Indian manufacturers and companies need to step up their game and as an influencer I think it is my duty to call them out. Again I wasn’t hating on the brand at all. I liked the primer and the liner and I said so. If I dont like the other things, I won’t sugar coat them. It is pretty simple for me in that aspect.

I have tried Ny bae. They are good indeed. Budget friendly products. I am so glad even I am from a small town carrying beauty products in a pouch, just because purple. I am happy with this

you started reviewing the products with a preconceived mind, it doesn't look like you were giving 'honest' review but a 'sarcastic' one. let me tell you, y others find these products good - with in small budget range, these products try to stand up to other brands like Sugar, Nykaa etc.. and talk about the liquid lipstick - apply lip balm before putting the lipstick - not sure y you skipped that part. I have used Sugar, Nykaa and Purplle products. all their liquid lipstick have almost same quality but look at the prices!!! You should start thinking y college goers are after Purplle products - same kind of quality given within their budget... you're acting like a high society lady! which I believe, is not helping ladies coming from smaller backgrounds. look at your earlier videos - how you promoted small brands and now how you have changed. you lost that charm.. Sorry to say this on your face! and please don't take the pain to do reviews of other Purplle products.. we know how it's gonna be.. Purplle products are for those who live in a budget!

First of all I'm a professional Makeup Artist so I'm use to of using high end brands . The thing is once you get to know about the formulas way too well and get use to of using good makeup formulas . It is very hard to actually like something that's not that up to the mark . For example years ago when I used Lakme foundation I thought it's the best and works best for me but then I got into Mac foundation and slowly by using and researching more and more good makeup brands I literally can't step out of the house without the Mac foundation . What I'm trying to put across is that it's not Shreya's fault the way she reviewed it . Once you get too experienced with good formulas it's hard to like something thats not up to the mark . I hope it made sense . Give the girl some break

Babe @shreya jain you are addicted to high end brands or i can say premium products which indian women can only buy if they are earning money in a massive amount. So for me brands like these are the best. No lipstick can stay for longtime so doesn’t matter love ❤️

You should do the lipliner smudge test with all further lip liner reviews/tutorials. It would be nice to see how other brands hold up.

I use their lipsticks and they are worth the price, Even Elle 18 lipsticks feel the same way though

i personally.. dont feel that the lipsticks are too bad.. i use them on a regular basis. they perform pretty good for me.. n i love their nail colours too! i have used all the lipstick varients!

I understand that you declined the offer but honestly I feel that being a KZfaqr you all are suppose to do that anyways wherever you can, not always though keeping the finances in mind. Also, you kinda have a room filled with make-up products, so even if you decline this brand it is kinda no big deal. The logic with you looking dull doesn't add up in my head. Looked like it was just an attempt to bash the company for some reason. The products which you liked out of the lot, didn't get much space in your review as much as the products which you hated, got. PS I love your content as they are mostly quite creative, but this one could have been more gentle.

You are an influencer and people depend on you for buying things, if you turn down a brand like this, such rudely, they might lose a lot of customer who want to try out budget friendly makeup. I personally love your reviews and search for your review before buying things, but this time, I even felt bad for the brand itself. Their liquid lipsticks are not as bad as you mentioned, and while the foundation didn't oxidise much, I hoped you would appreciate that, keeping the price in mind. There are a lot lesser people who can actually buy expensive make up than you think and maybe the brand targets that bunch only. No hard feeling though. Have a good day.

I actually enjoy using the NY bae foundation. It covers up fine on my skin and doesn't break me out either. I even used it in one of my videos. I however haven't tried out any other product from the brand because suddenly everyone was talking about it and raving it , I was like nope y'all lying 😂

Ok.. So I get it that this is not the best makeup brand.... But then I think almost every makeup brand has flaws like sugar liquid lipsticks are very very drying on the lips and the price is 5 times more than these lipsticks... Transfer proof lipsticks are rare in every brand... The more you pay the more you get... Sometimes even that's not the case... But then I don't think ny bae is that bad considering the prices and there are people who don't want to go hard on their pockets.... What you are saying that might be true I don't know as I never used products from this brand but still the tone and the words could have been more polite...

I am not at all in to makeup and in fact whatever little interest I have in makeup is thanks to you and few other you tubers I really admire. I think you are one of the most genuine, creative and honest KZfaqrs without even an iota of artifice. I also like your positivity and attitude in general. Having said that I think in this video you were too harsh on the brand...I haven't used any of their products yet, still no deserves that kind of severe judgement on things like the names of the shades and stuff like that!!! i love the idea of honest and without sponsorship video, i am following you for a very long time but never seen such lack of enthusiasm, shabby background , not so well thought dress and comments like " i want to get it off my skin'' . i love the way u criticize lakme or other brands as such but this video is certainly rude. i have not heard of the brand ever nor used their products but i can feel this video is too discouraging though you praised the primer and the liner.

I did buy their liquid lipstick... and honestly it looked like sindhoor and my lip had to go through a lot of dryness and a lot of abuse. Absolutely a 0/10 from me.

Hi shreya i always look forward to your reviews and follow ur suggestions religiously..came across a friend who is in love with nybae liquid lipsticks given their affordable price..I request you to re-review the nybae liquid lipsticks since this video was 2 years ago.

I've used a ton of Purplle products, some NY Bae ones as well. Even though some of your claims make sense about the transferring of the lipsticks and the kajal, I felt that you were going too hard on the company. For the price I think the products are fine (I did not understand the issue with the foundation). Also, the liquid lipstick is matte and drying but since I've used them, I know that they are much like a lot of other matte liquid lippies that you have reviewed before (eg: Sugar Smudge Me Nots). Also you don't look tired at all, so idk what's been going on with that :P

Hey I love ur videos but I thought it was little harsh I mean common for college gng girls who get limited pocket money these products works pretty well for them.. I mean they r really very affordable .. I have der lipstick semi matte one it’s ok yes it gets transfer.. but they r nice application wise ... der concealers doesn’t give u full coverage but that’s fine for everyday basis.. I hv not used foundation.. anyways I always like ur honest reviews but I feel u was little much harsh with these products ..Elle 18 lipsticks too transfer I have 2 of them.. plus der purple clr looks like brown but after applying u get to knw its purple.. Lots of love .. keep rocking
