I just paused near the start to say that after you took the brush out of the yellow box you completely ignored the black ink stick and left it in the box ! I think that is something similiar to the sumi ink sticks they make in Japan. ( The craft probably originated in China ). An ink stick is something you have to grind in a circular motion with drops of water for a while to make ink which can then be diluted with water to make multiple shades of grey for ink brush painting or kept black for writing. If you look up ink brush painting you will find beautiful examples of art made that way. Edit: you said it is missing a mixing plate but it isn't! When you popped the paints out of the palette you revealed it underneath .😊 I don't know if it opens up 180 degrees but if it does you could have two mixing plates there.😊

I would love to try and order some art supplies on Ali, especially since T-mu doesn't have that much to offer watercolor-wise. But I don't have the patience to wait a month for the stuff to arrive. I really hope T-mu expands their range of stuff like watercolor paints, gouache, etc. one day.
