Finally Fall! Starting School!

We finally received all of our school books so that we could start school! Both of the girls are very excited! We were also able to decorate for autumn while Pablo was gone. We have some fun things coming up, so don't forget to like and subscribe!

Our girls do online learning, so I’m not teaching them myself. They currently are enrolled online with a private school in Florida. I personally like homeschooling because our schedule is more flexible and the kids get one on one learning experience instead of in a large classroom.

Brasov is such a nice city. I saw that you moved from the apartment to the Villa in the last like year and a half or so. I trying to figure out a price range. How much does a villa like your cost to buy or to rent in Brasov area. From an American perspective. Thank You. Not asking specifics that would be rude. Just in general for your area. I know prices have went up alot since Pandemic. You have a beautiful family. It warms my heart to see families that put God at the center. I have 3 children 2 boy and an one girl. Half Texan / Half Romanian! Lol it was hot most ever where this year. My mother in law in Bucharest said it was horrible!

Hi! Generally I think a house like ours would go for 100,000-175,000 euros. That’s just a guess of course. Prices definitely have gone up.

@@THECALDERONFAM A friend bought a 55mp apartment with 122.000 euros in Timisoara this month... I think an entire house like yours costs much more than your guess.

Do you decorate for Halloween? How was Halloween over in Romania do they do as much there as they do here in the states?

We decorate mostly for fall but do put up a few Halloween things too. It’s not really celebrated here and definitely no trick-or-treating. But stores now carry some costumes and Halloween themed things.

Don't your kids miss socializing with other kids? Do they do activities with other kids?

They still have plenty of opportunities to socialize like dance classes, church, play dates, sports club, etc. 😊

Homeschoolers are out socializing in the community. Children in schools are in the building all day long

Hello… we are interested in moving to Romania next year but our biggest concern is home schooling our kids (1,2,11). Our 11 year has been homeschooled since the beginning. How has the process been for you guys to get them into a curriculum? Some countries through Europe are pretty strict on homeschooling but we know Romania isn’t one of those. Did you guys have to send anything to the Romanian board of Education( or whatever they call it) to get approval?

Since we are American citizens, the process was very easy. We don’t have to report anything or get approval. I’m not sure for other citizenships what the requirements are.

So wonderful to hear about your plans to move to Romania! Homeschooling is a very easy process here in Romania and you can choose your curriculum based on what you're looking for. 😃

You have been there for a while, pray tell, why aren't you sending the girls to school? I can understand, being in US , with CRT , and Homosexual Indoctrination, being permeating the school system... Romanian school system, is still pretty orthodox... This is a fair question, i do not mean to upset you guys. Thank you.

No upset at all! When we moved, several Romanian families told us that the school system had some flaws (as most anywhere do). We tried private schools here for awhile, but for Carolina in particular with ADHD, she does better without all the distractions of a large class.
