Finally Getting Back to Work on the 1975 F100 "Peely"!~

Due to the wintery weather, we've gotten back to work on an old project! The 1975 Ford F100 that's been hanging out rent free in the garage for a long while!! The truck has been affectionately nicknamed "Peely" by our boys.... Who knows what that's from??
We clean her up some more and put on some more parts in preparation for the engine to be installed! Who thinks we can get this finished and back on the road in the next couple months??

Really is a nice looking truck for 75. The interior looks meant what's cleaned up. It'll be beautiful. I enjoy your content and what you do with them.

I'll be 51 in a month my father worked for a Chevrolet dealership taught me everything he knows he started me young at 11 years old we've seen all walks of life of trucks and cars he was a body man mechanic he didn't care much for the Ford trucks but I did especially the the years of the 70s a lot of people look at them as transportation so did I but I like the looks of them you got to be in the mechanic in machines to have a love for them to make a long story short I like the looks of the 1970 ' s Ford trucks 😁👍

My best friend had a 76 F100 with the straight 6 engine but almost this same color. Maybe a little more butterscotch. It was named "The Flyer" and until the day it threw a rod with about 400k on it, it was one of the best damn trucks ever made.

That is awesome. In 76’ the offered two yellows, Chrome Yellow and Mecca Gold. This 75’ is Vineyard Gold. Those straight 6’s are some very good motors. Known to go the distance. The Flyer is a great name. Thank you for sharing that.

Worst engine I have seen in a long time. Completely washed as far as any sign of oil or sludge. Internals looked like it was at the bottom of the ocean. While the trucks body looks like it was parked in climate control.

Us too! Had them on an earlier episode, from our first revival. A 76’ F100. Couldn’t let them go. Loved the old school look. They fit these trucks great.

I had a 95 150 ford 300 straight 6 w/t 5 speed with od hd clutch I love that truck but the clutch was the only draw back cause u need lot force to engage clutch

I have had one of those same trucks setup that way. They are great. I wonder if it had a heavier clutch in it? Making it tougher to engage.

@@southernrevivalautomotive it was a special ordered commercial truck for a well company it had heavy duty bumpers it had a ladder rack that went from the hood to the back tool boxes on it I heard the original window it said hd clutch with od I forgot price no head line roll down widow rubber floor Ford appearance it was just four mud flaps and matching floor mats brought threw dealer part dept I took me lot research do any work on it cause it setup I was confused about I used work on normal car

Work truck spec. The heavier duty clutch’s are great.. unless you’re stuck in city traffic 😂.
