hey heres a quick tip for ryu: you can use 214LP to make them thing you throw a fireball. if they jump, you recover fast enough for an H shoryu.

when you were doing your Drive Impact combos I noticed that you sometimes just end with axe kick. You can cancel axe kick into a Hp DP for more damage. I would recommend going DI --> Hp xxx 236ODk -->4Hk xxx Hp DP. If you have good timing you can use 6Hp-->2Mpxxx 236ODk -->4Hk xxx Hp DP. Its a 1 frame link but its more damage. Other than that as other people have said your anti-air game needs work, a big thing I would suggest is stick to 2Hp as an anti air for now and that will train your brain to recognize that you need to be using an anti air when they jump and you can work your way up to doing DP's. Thats about it. Good luck with making it to plat!

A good rule is if you do more then 1 drive rush cancel for a combo use a med and heavy to cancel instead to two heavy's unless the combo is going to finish the round. You want to avoid burn outs in the middle of matches.

the ex donkey kick into the axe kick definitely has more potential, even the oki you were getting has a lot of options you could learn to go for. good stuff! 🙌🏼

If you end a combo in a donkey kick you usually want to get the free denjin charge. Also don’t forget about standing medium kick as a good poke

Good stuff bro. If you would allow me to give you some honest criticism, you should practice your DPs more. The Bison on the first match was getting away with too many jumps, and honestly cr.hp is not the best anti-air. Other than that, just make sure you optimize your combos a little more. Keep up the grind!
