Wow, I just sent in my first set of 40 marvel cards for grading and this video has got me sweating!!! Thank you for sharing though. It was enlightening. I think I better lower my expectations.

Follow up, I just noticed this video is a year old. Did you ever resubmit the questionable grades, or go with a different grading company? If so, what were the results?

Even the tough grades are still nice. Watch mine I had them since the early 90s and got 82 PSA 10s out of 116 cards. I cleaned them nicely and even as a kid stored them perfectly. I have 17 cards up on PWCC now for 3 more days if interested.

Luv the 90 MU Cards, My favorite set overall...always want to make sure all fingerprints & or any smudge marks are removed... believe it or not I seen a lot of cards lose one or two points that could have pulled a 9 or 10... experience you can't never replace it...tough lesson learned so you just learn from it and move along...

seeing some dings on corners that explain many of the 8's and 9's...guessing you either threw this order together quickly or you didn't look at these under good magnification and lighting? I bought 500 or so packs of 1991 Marvel cards in an online auction...I opened almost all of the packs, so close to 5000 cards...after eliminating those with off centering, I then looked at the remaining cards at various angles under good lighting, etc...I was left with only 300 cards out of the 5000 that I will be submitting to PSA once the pricing is $25 or less...many of the cards that got eliminated had some slight lifting of a corner on the back...if you spend even a minute per card, it is amazing what you will find wrong with so many cards, even when pack fresh

Oh you are so right. I barely looked at these cards and had no clue what i was doing. I just wanted to be “a part” of what was going on at the time and submitted before price hike.

All awesome cards I think they are rushing or wanting them get resubmitted for regrading so they get more money They need to explain why the grade some understandable but others 🧐 But still nice cards

Love Marvel cards and love your channel! Great job! I have a question for you: Where is the best place (website/dealer/etc.) to pre-order upcoming Upper Deck Marvel card products? I've noticed that once a product hits the market (and eBay), the prices shoot way up quickly. But I'm guessing you can get a decent price on pre-orders. Any suggestions are appreciated! Rob

You said you paid $300 for your 2099 spiderman? They go for under $100 now. And 10k for a spiderman psa 10? I see one forsale at 1k Am I missing something here? Did prices really drop recently as more cards continue to get graded?

That’s correct on 2099 The $10k spider-man sale wasn’t a PSA 10 but a BGS 10 Black label which is much more rare than PSA’s which are equivalent to a BGS 9.5
