You had some good first cutting hay. My uncle lives in Upper portion of Virginia and he had some of the best first cutting he has ever had. Great video.

I love John Deere. They are great machines. I have a two series John Deere and I love it does everything I want to do I cut about 5 acres. It runs awesome. Great video as usual. I love looking at that John Deere. I know you’re a Kabota fan. There’s nothing wrong with that. A lot of people love them but I love my John Deere.

Our 5045/with 512 loader was purchased with Construction tires front and rear..... 2 sets of rear wheel weights to offset the weight incurred using the loader to place 21 Bale aron bundles inside 53ft van trailers.....It's sole purpose

Well Ben, I can tell you 3 things after watching this.... 1, the Bota is pissed at you... He feels threatend by this! 2, You make it look easy with the fancy uphill brake work... and turning LOL! and finally 3, Test is Over,.... Dad wants his Tractor Back LOL.....! 😁😁 Good Video

The Jd did great! I have a jd5103 and i cut in B3 on flat ground with a caddy and 9ft disc mower.

Hi ya'll!! Looks like John deere is doin the deal. That's pretty sweet tractor. I feel same way Ben they all should make the seats priority. My first Mahindra tractor seat was horrible but my newer one is really comfortable it sure makes a big difference when seat is comfortable. I have bad back anyway. Ben i bought a aftermarket suspension seat at farm store for another tractor it was pretty comfortable. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun

The seat and seat position is the only real complaint I have on the Deere. It won’t slide back enough I don’t think and I’m not a tall person. Thanks for watching

Sure is a pretty steep hillside, looks like it handled it just fine. I hope you fellers are doing good in the hay, ours isn't as good as last year and last year wasn't very good at all. Good luck with all of it. Thanks and have a nice Friday and Happy Fathers Day in advance!

Looks like it handled that mower really well. I ran my 5400 Deere in B2 with my Hesston haybine, that’s about as fast as I could pull the haybine on the ground I was on. I think if I’d been running a disc mower or even my 350 Deere sickle mower, I could’ve gotten B3. Anyway, I’d say the 5045E passed the test 👍🏻

@@khtractors that I understand for some reason JD seats are not comfortable I don’t understand because of money you spend on the tractors that should be the main thing to build the tractor around because that’s where you spend most of your time on is the seat thanks again

I would be interested in knowing what degree of slope that was. looks pretty steep to me. we need to get you a tilt o meter. one you can put on which ever tractor your using.

I’ve thought about a tilt meter mounted on the tractor. This was around 24 degrees I’d guess. Thanks for watching

5045 handled it fine Ben. Has your Vermeer disc mower got the quick hookup? I have been looking at them. My discbine has alot of wear. When you get done with hay, you will be wore out a few days. Be safe

Yes all 50 series have the quick hitch. I have a 6050 and 8050 and the quick hitch is awesome, making hook ups simple.

Yes the quick hitch is why I traded mowers. It’s so much easier to attach and detach now. Can’t beat a Vermeer! Thanks for watching
