Kyle, I'm a pretty long time supporter of you man but if you don't learn how to do basic house maintenance without your dad having to come down and put him to work, you're going to have an emergency home repair and you're either not going to know how to do it and pay TONS of money for someone to do it fast or try it yourself and really mess it up. You've got to learn how to at LEAST do basic stuff like hang a towel rack or change out a light fixture.

As a Florida native, I can tell you that most homes have large backyards. Trust me, small backyards are not a “Florida thing.” What you are experiencing is big city living and newer properties. Even Miami and Tampa that are large cities have large back yards in most of their homes

That’s the yard you get when the house is actually a duplex. Most single family homes have a yard in Florida. My yard is huge and I use a riding lawn mower to mow it.

I know quite a few people who live in Florida, and not in the boondocks and they have normal sized backyards. It’s the neighborhood you chose where they don’t have backyards which is a shame considering how expensive the homes are there. Also, I’d reconsider getting a large dog since you have no yard space, it’s unfair to the dog. I had a small backyard and ended up getting a smaller to midsized dog on the recommendation of a friend who’s a vet because it wouldn’t need as big of a yard to run around in. Excited for your upcoming cruises. Have you guys thought of doing an Alaskan Disney Cruise?

Just my opinion, I get that having a tv on a back patio is popular, but your tv is only a few steps away inside. Use the back patio as a quiet, relaxing retreat, coffee in the morning, wine in the evening and just focusing on yourself(s) without interruption. Just a thought

Your medication issues aren’t the dr or your insurance plans fault… It’s the responsibility of the patient to know their plans restrictions and changes. If you know this blood work is needed yearly you should make sure you have an authorization prior to having it done.

Read your health policy thoroughly. If it doesn't meet your needs, trade up and buy something that is more expansive. It will be more expensive but also more inclusive. Call you doctor's office and ask them to recode the work and re-submit to your insurance company. They may do it or they may decline. You can appeal it, but don't hold your breath.

I love the patio area! A nice rug, Edison lights and a nice table and it’s a perfect space for dinner in the evening.

I'm sure many commenters have said your insurance issue is your own fault for now reading what is 'new' each year. Policies change every year so you must keep updated yourself to know what you can do and/or can't do. Hope it all works out for you. You may not have enough clearance for a fence to meet building codes. It's hard to tell from the video since space can seem different watching a video than it looks in person.

You can get chrome suction cup towel holders for your glass shower just put right on the glass on the outside. When we had our shower done we had them put permanent hooks in the glass and love them.

you need to understand your coverage. If you had trouble last year then you should know to check about the preauthorization. You can't leave it all to the dr. you need to take part in your own healthcare. If you don't like your coverage you can always select a different plan. Do your research, it's called adulting.

Sometimes the doctors get the codes wrong for the insurance billing. I had a filling one time and I was charged 500 dollars and called the dental office. They realized the billing code was incorrect and resubmitted to insurance. It dropped down to 50 dollars. Always check your bills and read your explanation of benefits.

I have health insurance through my job and have never had any issues. Its a PPO where you can go to any doctor or specialist that is in-network. Global corporations with a lot of employees usually have the better insurance coverage I think.

They have those over the door towel hooks. I use the all the time. They are better than they used to be and flatter and don't show on the other side.

Why don't you just go to the dollar store and pick up some hooks for the back of your washroom door. You can get ones that are cheap (but look nice) and hook over the top of the door or get some 3M ones that use command strips. Either way it won't damage anything and then when Casey decides what long term solution she wants for the towels you can get rid of the dollar store item without spending a lot of money.

Be careful on the Allure. We went on in November - it is in desperate need of a refresh. And I caught a nasty virus on board and I am diligent about hand washing.

I like the first appointment in the afternoon after lunch too.Nothing worse than being at the office for 2 hours or more. Your doctors office definitely must have coded your diagnosis wrong for your labs. They just to resubmit with the correct code. So frustrating. Smaller yard= less work you have to do. I would put a table and chairs and a couple of those plastic Adirondack chairs from Home Depot or Target on the back Lanai. I would hope no one would come by your house.

Allure is great because it’s an Oasis class ship without having the waterslides or the dry slide and such, which means there can be less little children on board! I cruised on her in the summer of 2022, I think it got some updates since then - it’s definitely in need of one for the state rooms and mattresses, etc.

Yes make sure labs are being coded right by your physician & may need 2 do a prior auth letter for your diagnosis if they haven’t already.

Two things - 1) get the health insurance that will meet your personal needs. I find it better to read reviews and pay more for better and easier health insurance with less headaches. As the saying goes, pay now or pay later! And 2) they sell rain shower heads that you simply unscrew the old shower head and screw on the new shower arm and rain shower head. Easy peasy
