That's my mother in a nutshell, execpt she makes something normal then dumps ghost pepper powder (or worse) on her portion instead of making two batches. Meanwhile, jalapenos are the hottest thing I can handle. I've got some funny stories related to her obsene spice tolerance if anyone's interested.

and me the absolute opposite, lol. My tastes are so sensitive that I don't even have ketchup with my fries... or if I do its the tiniest dip because that's all I really need, lol. It's a boon and a curse though. At restaurants its hit and miss. What taste great to others is overwhelming to me and what taste bland to others is a mouthful of flavor. My youngest brother is like that though. Guy carries around Tabasco and Siracha sauce when we are going out!

General consensus is that she knew she was allergic and was bullying her because she couldn't refuse to eat it in front of the emperor. But they had no way to prove it, so they instead pretended that she just thought she was being picky, informed her that yes, she really is allergic, and feeding her that stuff was equivalent to poisoning her, and gave her some boards with instructions how to deal with it in the future. Next time it happens, they know she knows, and will be punished accordingly.
