Fans was so Engaged with this Show and was asking YG to also debut the remaining 6.. Eventually, he decided to debut 2 Groups, TREASURE & later on MAGNUM.

Yeah they announced 7 members of TREASURE which was Haruto, Yedam, Junghwan, Junkyu, JeongWoo, Hyunsuk, and Jaehyuk. But so many treameu (treasure makers) were so upset that others didn’t make the final cut like Mashihio who was ranked #1 and had many fans as well as Ha Yoon Bin, Seunghun and Byounggon. Another week or so later YG announced another 6 member group called, Magnum that consists of Jihoon, Yoonbin, Asahi, Yoshinori, Mashiho, and Doyoung. Apparently, YG wanted to kind of make this like a sub-unit group of TREASURE BOX and they will probably most likely be promoting more often in Japan since most of the members are japanese. However, last year YG totally scrapped the idea of 2 separate groups and decided to just merge TREASURE and MAGNUM into one group with TREASURE as their name. So there would be 13 members that were going to debut, but Yoonbin decided to leave YG and TREASURE in December 2019. Yoonbin felt that the direction of music that TREASURE is going for their debut wasn’t the music genre or image that suited him well. As much as he already has done a lot of content with TREASURE like filming for TMI and photo shoots. He just wasn’t really feeling it, he’s not so much cut out for the “idol” lifestyle. He’s truly talented in rapping, composing music, and dancing. He does have a good personality too, but I don’t think it’s the image that he saw for himself. So even though he was one of my fave rappers in TREASURE, I’m proud that he came to decision BEFORE THEY DEBUTED. I can’t imagine the heartbreak/mess that would have happened had he didn’t speak up and just debuted. Currently, Yoonbin has released some songs as a solo and even put out some short clips and teasers of his songs. It’s really good and indeed it suits who he is really well, he’s unique, quite underground, and powerful. Very HA YOON BIN and I hope he gets signed soon. But that’s how 13 members became 12 members and now you know how they became TREASURE. Let’s get ready Yedam’s solo debut/solo song in a few days and TREASURE’s debut next month! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Funfact, in vocal performance it take 2 times because yedam and junkyu's voice got crack in high note, only jeongwoo didnt make mistakes, he was perfect in his stage..

I was a fan since the start of YG Treasure Box and it was really hard having to wait for the remaining members every 2 days. The last 3 members were Jaehyuk, Jeongwoo and Hyunsuk. The day Hyunsuk was revealed they had a first VLive to introduce Treasure 7. Few weeks after, YG announced that there will be a second unit called Magnum and the members were revealed daily: Mashiho, Yoonbin, Yoshi, Jihoon, Doyoung, Asahi (sorry I forgot the order). Collectively they were called Treasure 13 and had their first VLive together. Yoonbin left in December 2019 so they are only 12 now. I always tear up watching these Treasure Box videos but I always rewatch them because I love the performances and I miss seeing the beautiful friendship of these 28 trainees.
