I like cubans footwork. Notice how he always makes sure that he doesnt attack straight in. He always picks angle. He mostly circles to left but sometimes he changes to southpaw to circle to the right. Very interesting stufd.

@@whatwhat4226 Great White Hope is a racist concept that doesn’t exist anymore. Loma is from Eastern Europe, the boxing establishment in America has never taken kindly to them which explains why they never supported the elite ones like Darius the Tiger, Kovalev , Golovkin etc. Loma still has beaten more champions than most guys fighting rn and is proving he’s still daring to be great. Lopez is a middleweight fighting 135 pounders it’s not fair. I know you a casual. I didn’t know having 2 losses made you a bad fighter. Floyd brainwashed you casuals into thinking a 0 is a measure of greatness, nah it’s a measure of cherry-picking and poor competition. Stop hating on him. Salido fight was a robbery and Lopez was close fight with torn shoulder. You black Americans are haters. Loma beat Nicholas Walters who KOd Darchinyan and Donaire(only man to) beat GRJ never lost before or since, and many others. Appreciate boxing. You don’t win 2 Olympic golds being hype. @Lions Truth Myth. Davis barely landed any punches and he ate a lot of jabs and combinations. This pity Pat is a myth. Cruz hurt every guy he fights. Pan American games 2019 he wobbled Davis and had him holding because he was on Queer Street. 2020 Olympics badly hurt Wasserman and Garside had them almost out on their feet. Roniel Iglesias dropped and wobbled 1 Seed Pat McCormack. Cuban beef and raised Reyes KO Vassiliy Levit former silver medalist. Julio La Cruz hurt Ochola and Gardzhimagomedov in their fight. This pitty Patis a myth. Cubans just vary their punch levels and power. It’s called having IQ. Keyshawn throws punches the same way everytime, and he’s a bit one dimensional with his boxing skills. Davis needs to fix his stance ASAP, That wide stance effects his mobility greatly & he drags his back that will lead to him having injuries in the future
@NAKMEEZY4 жыл бұрын
That's what I thought.
@ericklanzas70854 жыл бұрын
honestly I don't agree with you in that one, he lost because his strategy was try to outbox Cruz, and that way he end doing Cruz fight and make him more relax, he could make inside fight, putting a lot of pretion to make real damage on Cruz, he give him to much respect.
@KingOfAllDragoons4 жыл бұрын
Erick Lanzas yes, trying to out boxing someone while having limited mobility due to a wide stance and dragging your back leg is a bad strategy
@payatntall4 жыл бұрын
Disagree, it was his style, it fits well for him, it’s extra defensive because of Cruz offense.
@payatntall4 жыл бұрын
He didn’t win amateur but he would have probably got Cruz in the pros , to me, it looked like Davis had more effective shots that laid more damage
@GhilenPeek Жыл бұрын
Am I right in saying Cruz neutralized that American style that we keep seeing from the likes of Davis, and even guys who came up (or trained in) from Mayweather gym like Devin Hanley? That flicking jab that usually works on a lot of opponents seemed to have no effect on Cruz.

They will. Keyshawn just beat the silver medalist from France, he’s also a pro now I see him getting Cruz this time around. He spars world champion boxers, he’s improved a lot

Cubans fizzle out at the pro level where US boxers shine.
@allyofficial45472 жыл бұрын
Cubans are banned from being pro... only the few who have managed to escape have gone pro and by that time they are a fair bit older.
@RichCwm2 жыл бұрын
They are programmed to be amateurs. Take them out of Cuba early and we'll see. Most who defect to the USA are already old.
