I often get asked about what books to read if you want learn how to invest or learn more about the financial markets in general. So in this series I'd like to share some of the books that I found particularly interesting and helpful, as well as talk a bit about what each book is about. Even for experienced people in this field, if you haven't read these books (which is probably unlikely) I still believe they can offer some unique insights.
A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel is one of the first books that I would recommend. Malkiel provides a comprehensive overview ranging from the history of market bubbles, fundamental/technical analysis, portfolio construction concepts, and more. If I had to read one book to give me a crash course on finance, this book would be on the top of my list.
