@@gurutechnetworks please use HSRP and default routes(default-information originate) in future projects. Also please don't enable OSPF between ISP and Branch routers. Thanks

For some reason the VOIP router isn't participating in OSPF and forming adjacencies with the other routers, can you think of a reason why this is occurring?

No need to form adjacency since we only wanted VoIP for internal use

Also, the fact that the VoIP router is connected to ml3sw via trunk interface makes it not perform this function. It should be connected via layer3 interface configured with IP address

Hi. Thanks for the great content. It really helped me in my final semester. I have one question here, in this network what if instead of floors we have different cities and we have to connect them with service provider WAN network. Could you pls provide an example of that scenario pls?

At 2:03:15 , even after configuration, my all pcs are not showing the DNS server and gateway configuration. ' not set' is displayed in all pcs of each department

Hi, could you please explain, if you need to implement HSRP on a router for vlans, how do you configure the interfaces ? . should you create subinterfaces for each vlan or just physical interface enough ? . (assumed Left router is active and left side router is stand by router ) appreciate your reply

I have already created SVIs on MLSW and it works. i also have actual 2 routers with redundant links to MLSW on top of the MLSW and i need to create HSRP on those 2 routers as well . i wish i could show you the topology. @@gurutechnetworks

OK and do you have any firewalls like cisco ASAs implemented in one of your projects ? i am also doing an assignment for my exam. it should have 2 ASA firewalls , 2 ISPs , 2 routers, 2 core switches in core network as redundant. so you know how to configure redundant devices like if one router or core sw fails the other takes over like that. cheers @@gurutechnetworks

Hi @gurutechnetworks, have followed you with this lab task and i have an issue with the VOIP router 2800 series, the interface linking the core/multi layer switch, is trunk,thats okay have done that, the interface to the router now is in the inter- vlan mode, when i configure ospf to all the devices, the VOIP router doesn't form adjacencies nor neighborship with core and other devices, have reloaded, deleted but still am unable to have a Voice network for the ip phones,the rest is well established,pcs,printers and wireless connection are able to lease ip addresses from the server side in all departments, Also had a question concerning site to site VPN perhaps maybe the packet tracer is limited to some features, but could you please elaborate and advice us on how to troubleshoot vpns and the commands available for that, Otherwise keep up the good work as you sacrifice your time to bring us this good content...Asante sana.
