You do not see the lead up and showings prior of all the homes we show the Buyers. In the show we only have time to review the 3 homes which the Buyers have chosen and as their short list.

Don't forget this is also a TV show, we like to delight our viewers, and show a range of luxury homes at different price points. Buyers are also very aware of their budget, and sometimes want/need to see what they can't have, can have, what they don't want, want etc... to really deduce what works for them and their budget, and finally which home is the prefect fit for them. In the end, a Buyer always buys what they emotionally connect to and often times it incentives them to come up in budget and spend more on what they really want to buy.

@@dreamlivingLA That's a sweet answer. As a home buyer myself, I know it's easy to have an idea of what your budget can get you which isn't always realistic to the market. Even if those were the only three you showed you did an excellent job!

Can’t agree more. House #1 is a disaster. Number 2 u can redo the kitchen and bathrooms to modernize home. Get a designer and decorate the outside and inside to make it your own style.

dreamlivingLA I like your comment. I always want to see what I can’t have. Ultimately, I can never be so rationale about my own budget. My budget is always flexible with what I can select from and what I feel good about.
