Even thought I knew the moves, the routine itself was still very appealing, Good Job!

When he flipped over the cards, his hand held 2 cards. The middle card, thus, must be the one he had just shown to you.

Rumba count's, double lifts and a few flashy ways of showing the bottom card as the top one. Great video!!!! I love it and I love you!

As a fellow cardician, you did a wonderful job. Even when I burn one hand at a time it still is great. The monte is still one of the classics. Bravo!

This is the first trick I have learned that required sleight of hand. It is kind of fun performing it, the surprise ending always gets reactions! Cheers from Brazil :)

I do this trick, with a bit different patter, with a four of diamonds as the joker, a four of clubs as the queen, and the ace of spades as the third card also. Fantastic rendition, awesome performance. I love this trick; never ceases to amaze.

Love your twist with the trick; I originally learned it as "This and That," but I love your handle with the cards and tweaks for some of the repetitive tricks I used when doing this to others.

Hey Asad i've been performing magic tricks for about 2 years, street magic and some at college. I've been looking for a similar trick that have a similar effect for ages but only found tricks that need gimmicks and stuff, so thanks for this trick i watched it about 10 times and i can finally perform it Appreciate it alot :)

smooth performance, love those tricks that fool me initially, the 3 jokers display was awesome, but that i can figure out in the end
@avoosl14 жыл бұрын
Excellently low-keyed presentation contrasts favorably with the usual false hustler style. While insiders can fathom the maneuvers, I think this would blow away any layman anywhere. Smooth, unhurried - one of the best I've seen, even compared to the big names.

Lol there are some really weird comments suggesting a card palm or a fourth card. LOL. It's none of that. If you want to know how it's done, it's really easy to follow if you've read Paul Cummin's FASDIU. It's kind of an adaptation, but certainly different, and I love it. I like this version better. Thanks a lot Asad! :D

I know how he does most of it, but some parts confuse me. BTW Asad, i subscribed from the first vid i saw from you. card tricks amuse me, but not those kinda tricks with rigged cards like the sticky cards or double sided ones. Just wanna know, do you use any of those kinda cards? not just this trick, but for any tricks?

I think i Figured it out :) Simple Three card monte set up, except using multi-card flips he shows 2 cards most of the time (Joker and Queen). When he is showing you 3 of the same cards he is only showing you the bottom card leaving the other 2 hidden. The ace was perfectly behind the other cards the whole time

@Niruba710 жыл бұрын
If you want this ruined, read on. If you want it to be magic, do not. Whenever he showed cards, he would either use a double lift or only show the bottom card on the pile, then peel off the top, then show the bottom one again. It's an interesting trick that works a lot more than you'd guess it would, especially when done quickly and with a story like that. See Disturb Reality's "Bizarre Twist" tutorial for an example.
@Niruba710 жыл бұрын
0:53 Genius move. Slides the middle card out so that he can grab the bottom and the top from the back (bypassing the middle) and double lift THROUGH a middle card. That was the move that had me confused.

any chance you will reveal this?

@HAL9000_DaisyDaisy14 жыл бұрын
Very smooth movements, but at the speed you're going it's kind of easy to see what you're doing. I could follow the Queen quite well really... I think you might have slipped up slightly with aligning the cards, since I actually spotted the white edge of the second card you flipped at one point.

@asadchaudhry2006 As you call him, "the 'this and that' kid" certainly wasn't the first person to use it, but he's also certainly not a kid. The gentleman who added that particular plot to this handling is an established magician. I'm curious if you can cite the first publishing of thishandling. I can't find anything that dates back much more than a decade, though I thought it was older.
