Comes out you can rescan Wolf Link into your game more than once a day, as long as he doesn't die. Thanks to those who pointed that out!

Maybe they didn’t want to make BoTW as best as can be because then thered be no updates for BoTW 2 that are game changing and “revolutionary” lmao. Knowing Nintendo though... they probably still won’t implement a lot of stuff that people want... they tend to stick to strict boundaries. It sucks cause if they opened up more then they’d be so much better.

As long as wolf link doesn’t lose all of his heart, you can re-summon as many times as you like. Even if you transport etc

Hey zelda Master. Just wanna tell you something. As you said wolf link is under appreciated, sadly, though, so are you. It just sucks how much brilliant content creators can be very unpopular but still, amazing. You’ve done bits to help me through issue like depression and severe anxiety. He is underrated. I had to ditch my old windwaker save file, and I got pretty far into it. But I got stuck and decided to start over. To get through temples fast, I had to look up a tutorial and the first one that popped up was zelda masters let's play windwaker from YEARS ago. It was really helpful and I eventually used his skyward sword let's play as a way to get the game done fast. Not only that but they were pretty entertaining to watch. After watching his majoras mask let's play, before getting the game, I feeled like I already played through it. Then I got the game for my 3ds. Anyways, I know this vid is pretty old but I saw this comment and realized I needed to say something. Oh and if zelda master sees this comment (he probably won't tho bc it kind of old ) in your ocarina of time play through, you said the boss of the shadow temple , bongo bongo, ( I think that's the shadow temple, the one you use the lens of truth in) you said he was really easy and I've lost that battle so many timeesssss. And I don't understand why it's so hard for me because the wind waker version of bongo bongo , that you find in the tower of the gods, is so much easier for me!! Ahhhhh! But yea you should have way more relevance to the Zelda community on KZfaq and be known . Zelda master for 2020!! Hagahaha

No. It makes no sense. Why would TP Link be alive in BotW when it takes place over 10000 years after any other Zelda game? I do think they should add some kind of pet/companion though, like a generic wolf, fox or even Zelda.

I love Wolf Link. He really helps make the game less empty. I really wished he was cannon but I know that would mess the timeline but God, I just want around. There are so things that I'm not a fan of like how he can't enter towns. I like to think people can actually see him but think he can't harm them.

Probably one of the most satisfying things for me to do is ride Epona with Wolf Link running next to me. Then go to the Farm Ruins or the Temple of Time, or some other past area.

I'd love to see Wolf Link, or Twilight, as I like to call him, in the let's play! I think like he adds a whole new layer to rpg side of this game. We're a boy with no memories that teams up with a wild wolf and go on a quest to save the world with it. This aspect makes us, the players, create our own story that's not in the game. I love the concept of two Links traveling together, one in disguise, and there's actually quite a number of fan fics about it out there

Lucia Faria there was one time a chichi barely hurt my horse so I slightly moved my horse use revalue gale and just rained bomb arrows on it it was dead yet still kept shooting XD

I purposely held off on BOTW until I could max out Wolf's hearts, and I never played BOTW without him alongside. It was a great feature given the game's settings. My only gripe is that he could have easily been controlled by a second player.

My two favorite underappreciated channels: ZeldaMaster and MajorLink. ZeldaMaster, you pieced together lore that only expanded my favorite game series ever. First game I ever beat was Ocarina, and now I got BOTW for the Wii U (Don't gotta switch because im broke as a joke, lolz) and im in love with it all over again. A companion for link has always been a necessity, be it Navi always with you, Midna talking her playful trash, or even Tatl and her ringing. Link always needs that reassuring voice to help him, give him the strength to be the hero, and tap into the courage he embodies. Video is a 20 out of 10, amazing job.

Wolf link can also find more than shrines. If you target something like food (like something rare or any food for that matter) with the sheika sensor plus he’ll be able to help you track it down

subscribed! btw~ master sword beam attack pro tip... if you give up 4 red hearts... and put them on stamina... a single cooked durian will max your hearts with 4 yellow hearts... this means your “max health” master sword beam attack will last through 4 yellow hearts of damage without you having to top off to max your health again... i found TONS of durians just north of the Faron Tower... glide over and kill the two lizalfos and harvest ~ 20 durians... cook 1 at a time... max health +4 yellows... this gives you nearly endless master sword beam attack with very little topping off required to keep max health :)

I agree with the idea of having a pet or companion but it feels a little weird having the hero of twilight as a dumbed down side character, and as much as botw is a cool game most of the likable things about it are from other titles in the series.

He's not gone for good when you teleport, you can summon him as many times as you want until he's out of hearts, if you get far enough away from him he'll "return to his world" but can still be summoned again til he is out of hearts

Not knowing about this little treat, I'm blown away at how any Zelda fan could underappreciate somehthing like this. I'd be great if Midna could appear from the Midna amiibo or even both from that particular one, but I'll take just the doggo over nothing any day. I unequivocably share your opinion of Twilight Princess compared to the rest of the series. I'm not sure if even BOTW comes in first, since both games have features that I absolutely adore.

I would have loved to see a taming a system in general, even without wolf link specifically, it would have been awesome to have that and like armor for them to make them tankier, like ancient armor but for your pet and since they have health it actually has defense to make them beefy.

Also, you can hit Wolf Link with remote bombs, and he’ll take damage. Not something I recommend, it’s just something you can do to feed him without just throwing him at monsters.

wolf link you can spawn him all the time on the same day if he goes away as long as he doesnt die he will be able to spawn anytime unless hes died if he loses all his hearts you cant respawn him tho if you die he will be gone but you can respawn him

If they want to in the sequel they could have the wolf link idea but just not as wolf link. They could've had it be you could tame a wolf or bought a dog and it would do the same stuff that wolf link does and then the wolf link would still be a amibo exclusive and you can have him be stronger than a normal one so its still special other than just the looks

I used wolf link all the time!! Especially in trials where the vision of the player is impaired. He goes after enemies first and it’s like having your own radar

I'm not sure why Luke is so certain that Wolf Link was portrayed as being a part of the game. Long before BotW was first shown as Zelda Wii U, we heard the Wolf Link Amiibo (From TPHD) would do something in BotW and carry across some progress. After that, the first time we saw Wolf Link was with the huge blowout announcement in E3 2016.... and he was revealed on Treehouse by Bill who showed the Amiibo being put into the game. Wolf Link's first reveal was him being an Amiibo, so I really don't know why Luke thinks otherwise.

Maybe not Wolf link but possibly a wolf or dog companion. Maybe that's why you can feed the dogs at the Stables..

What I really think they should do is definitely port Zelda twilight princess hd to the nintendo switch. This way it makes it more easier for people to do the trial dungeon to get the 20 hearts for Wolf Link and the use the Wolf Link Amiibo in breath of the wild. I know for a fact that the Switch can definitely handle the graphics to Twilight Princess even though they have to break it down to 30 frame rates but still it would be cool to see them do this.😎 I bought the wolf like amiibo but I only have 3hearts for him and I dont have a Wii U, so I decided to buy all the cards on Amazon just to get the 20 heart wolf link.

It's more likely that they were planning on a full companion system, but didn't due to some reason. It'd be cool to tame certain animals to use as companions, with their own armor system similar to horse armor and gear. Them just saying "Wolf Link should be in the game" then not doing it seems unlikely, as that wouldn't make sense canonically, they more likely said standard companions should be in the game, then decided against it.

you do know wolf link can be summoned as much as you want until he runs out of health then you have to wait till the next day to summon him again.

I mean in Twilight Princess we see two heroes, hero of twilight of course and hero of time (Hero's Shade). So they can make it make sense with the hero of the wild and hero of twilight together too. But that means hero of twilight probably going to be a spirit too tho🙁
