In this new series, I visit the beautiful southern Filipino island of Mindanao - where I experience its rich culture with my friends Kumander Daot and Traveling Sticks.
However, I have to travel there before meeting up with my friends. Join me on this episode's adventure as I discover a hidden natural wonder in Mindanao! Follow my journey through the luscious Bukidnon Valley to Davao City in search of breathtaking sights like the natural and unspoiled Blue Water Cave.

Always great adventures. Always refreshing and informative. Thanks brother. Enjoy. I've always kind of avoided Mindanao because of State Department warnings and things of read and heard about kidnappings and such; but I think much of that crazy stuff happens to foreigners around Zamboanga. SM in Davao invited me to open a branch there, but I foolishly refused. I'm visiting Mindinao, vicariously, through your youtube videos. Thank you!!! I'll see you soon when I get back to Philippines this month..

Thank you brother! You definitely need to the explore Davao City area. To my complete surprise I found that there are a LOT of Ilonggo's that live in this part of Mindanao.

I lived in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon for 3 years & I am moving back to that area as soon as possible. now I live in Tagaytay City, which many people think is the coolest place along with Baguio, but Malaybalay is MUCH cooler AND much less expensive to live. Can't wait to get back there for the rest of my days.

Indeed bukidnon is one of the best country side of the Philippines. The temperature is good and chilly feels like baguio sometimes you won't regret travelling to bukidnon my 2nd home

Pls don't stay out in the sun too long. Always bring your water thumbler to hydrate yourself. When in bukidnon, check out cedar waterfalls, lake apo, impasug-ong view, nasuli cold spring, dahilayan park

In 2023, I took my wife and three children to Mindanao for the better part of a month. We had a wonderful vacation amongst all of the friendly Filipinos.

That was cool. Climbing into the heart and life blood of the mountain alone. Courageous. Maybe someone can post on google maps Bring Your Rope! Hahaha

And maybe a little stupid! It was an 80% grade, and if I'd fallen, who knows. Live and learn, right? Thank God for that cool water, though. I was seeing spots at the bottom of the climb because I was so overheated.

In 2014, during my solo, year-long, ride around almost all of the major & medium islands, I rode 3 months and 4000. miles just on Mindanao. Hands down the hottest girls, esp Zamboanga City. Its safe except for the ARMM Lands. Stay away from their land. Otherwise its great.
