I'm a little late on this band-wagon, but this man is seriously an angel. We need to protect him at all costs! I know that as a 30 year old woman, I'm not his target audience, but I have NEVER adored an artist as much as I do YUNGBLUD! His music and lyrics touch me on an emotional and spiritual level that drives back the depression in my little black heart 🖤🖤🖤

This touched my soul in a way that I definitely wasn't expecting. I broke into tears twice: first when Dom asked if he was good enough, that surprised me 'cause he has accomplished so much already in his career and did more on 4 episodes of this series than I did in 3 months of quarantine. Just seems bizarre that a guy loved by so many, who is so talented and sucessful could doubt himself. Sometimes I just forget celebrities are people just like us with insecurities, ups and downs... The second time was when he played The Lonely and The Broken. As always, you can feel the raw emotion and a piece of his soul that he put into the song. Dom is really one of a kind as a person and an artist. Glad that I found his music and this documentary series :)

hey um so today was one of the worst days of my life. More than usual, I just hated everything about myself and thought that I was completely alone. As I brushed my teeth tonight and put on Kill Somebody on my headphones, something changed inside me. I really felt your message. I started crying in a way I had never before, I sunk to the ground feeling naked under my towel and when I looked in the mirror (I was in the bathroom), I didn't see myself the way I did before. I just saw a person that I KNEW was me. It was just me. It was bizarre, and I will never forget it. It was one of the most powerful moments of my life. And I thank you. I hope you see this. screw the haters. yungblud is everything. he will forever be a legend. yungblud inspires me alot. ive always wanted to be a singer when i was in 8th grade in la we had to write poems. and we had to write about something that impacted ours lives the most. i chose depression. depression hit me at age 13. that year was the hardest. depression broke me down alot but at the same time it motivated me. it made me stronger. i worked harder and harder everyday and did the things that made me happy the most. i did it to prove my depression wrong, that im not worthless, or ugly, or better off dead. when i wrote my first poem in 8th grade about depression it really picked up the broken peices i left behind. when i showed my teacher she cried because it was so deep and real. i showed the poem to my family and every single person cried. not because it made them sad but because it proved you can do anything if you put your mind to it and work on it. through these episodes watching yungblud having his depressing moments and watching him stay strong for his family his fans his friends and himself really inspired me

I’m in my 30s now. He reminds me a lot of the type of people I’d hang out and get crazy with as a teen. I think I’m connecting so much because I haven’t seen or felt that type of exciting energy off someone since then. It’s like the world sucked that energy out of those old friends and it didn’t seem like the universe was making more like them. So seeing him exist makes me happy.
