Four hard working buds decided they needed to get away for a while - and learned about a camping trip where there's been sightings of the legendary Bigfoot. Even if it's all just a tourist trap - a relaxing time out in the forest may be just what they need.

Considering how they should have been suffering from severe hypothermia at a core temperature of 31.8 °C, jumping into freezing water probably wouldn't have made that big a difference anyway. They're already dead, the adrenaline from hunting and subsequently running from a yeti simply prevents their bodies from realizing it yet. Or it's just broken mechanics. Probably both.

@@aceofdeath0285 Core body temperature, not environment temperature. To continue functioning normally, the body cannot afford to go up or down more than maybe 5 degrees Fahrenheit from it's standard temperature of 98.6 °F, especially for extended periods of time. If it did, the body's homeostasis would be thrown all out of wack. For context, hypothermia in humans is defined as having a core temperature below 95 °F (35 °C).
