Jazmine Sykes I was so surprised too. To me sometimes it even sounds like she's just pretending to have a british accent, because her American accent is so good.

Jazmine Sykes The biggest mindfuck for me was her American accent, since I'd seen her and her twin sister, Megan, on Skins, back when it aired. I'm now so accustomed to her American accent (which is phenomenal) that her English accent is a shock.

I was absolutely shocked when I found out she was not American! She does it so well. I've seen so many British actors who pull it off by speaking quieter or softer. They have a different voice so it's not so much of a surprise but she sounds just like a typical American teen when she does Carter. Amazing actress! Cannot wait for season 2 :)

What confuses me about this show is that they didn't use her real life twin as her twin in the show - that would've been soooo much cooler!

Because they were already twins on Skins and maybe they wanted to avoid playing on that. Plus, Meghan would've never passed as the nerdy twin after being Katie Fitch

Trilogy if they've never watched skins then obviously they're not gonna know who she is or that she has a twin sister. its not like skins played on American tv or was advertised in north America. I don't even know how I heard of it but I remember having to watch it online .. she's more famous in the UK b/c she was on a UK show. now she's on an American show and more Americans are discovering her.. not rocket science.

I knew she was British because if you didn't know she was in two seasons well kinda 3 in the British show (drama) called Skins. It's based on a group of teenagers as they go through life. Topics like Love sex drugs parents friends school etc.

Yeah Finding Carter is extreme but Watching Skins can keep you on your toes too. She actually played twins on the show.

It's spelt aluminium in the UK so that's why we add another syllable. The US spell it aluminum, hence why we say it differently.

‘’Aluminum’ (aloo-minum) is spelt differently to how it’s spelt in Australia and England. Aluminium (aloo-minn-ium). It has an extra syllable because it’s literally spelt differently. I didn’t realize this till I moved to America and saw it spelt differently
