It's so funny (not kinda funny actually funny) how the guys are just perplexed when it comes to kids. Lol And the first to have their own child is gonna be Greg. I look so forward to his stories as a new dad. Being a stay at home dad was the best job I ever had.

My biggest problem with this movie is the need to "Han Solo" everything. Everything Dory says or does in Nemo is overly explained in this movie. Sometimes, we don't need a reason for everything.

The Shelly moment is a great constant joke with my family. One of my favorite moments of any movie so funny

It's impossible for me to separate this movie from the fact that I was living in Richmond, VA at the time and almost died walking home as I got caught in an immensely violent sudden storm the destroyed most of my brother's neighborhood and knocked out power for a week. Finding Dory, forever attached.

I googled how many Tremors movies there are and I was shocked to find out there are SEVEN including one that came out LAST YEAR. I was only ever aware of like 3 of them

They do still have touching pools at zoos. I took my kids to the zoo last week and they were able to touch Stingrays.

I personally would put it above Ratatouille and below Luca. It had better emotional highs than Ratatouille and didn't have as many lulls, but I think Luca was just much more structurally cohesive as a narrative and offfers better emotional attachment to their characters. Just my opinion.

This movie had the ADHD feel of a generic kids movie to me. All the dialogue was so rapid fire with almost no space in between, and all the plot points were rushed through so fast. Finding Nemo was a movie that wasn’t afraid to slow down and take its time (like in the fish tank and whale’s mouth). These made for thoughtful moments and the movie felt way more balanced and real because of it. Meanwhile Finding Dory just feels like the gas pedal is pushed to the floor the entire time with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 scenes. Add to that some extreme contrivances in how the characters get around the aquarium (Nemo and Marlin hop on the top of perfectly timed water jets to get from a fish tank to a fountain? Hank is pushing around this stroller with no baby and no human pushing it around hundreds of people and NOONE is noticing?? There could have been so much fun in finding clever ways to navigate this environment without being seen and caught, but “no,” the filmmakers said, “we just need the characters to get from A to B, so just have nobody see them as they move from place to place.” So lame.) and lack of a real sense of danger like Finding Nemo had in spades, and this was a very mediocre movie to me. It’s good to have a positive representation of mental conditions, but the movie also needs to be entertaining, which this one was only so-so at doing.

This is a fantastic Pixar film. Finding Nemo is maybe my favorite Pixar. This is almost as good.
