Intersting approach. As a casual trader I subscribed to see what else you will put out there. One note, On 4:50 (setting the call at the previous range high) curious how you approach this on the platform. On TOS, for instance this is not a simple task (at least not aware of it), you have to have noted (by memory) the price of the call option during that area and enter it manually as a limit order.

Agreed about multiple indicators as long as indicators are based on different aspects. ie. not all moving avgs based.

Hi, awesome video! I really like your strategy so I just joined your patreon. I had a question though, how do you exit your positions? Are you scaling out, do you use a trailing stop, etc? Maybe in one of your future videos, could you explain how you manage exiting your positions? This my weakness in trading, I'll have a day trade that's 2R profitable, but because I'm following the TTM squeeze for an exit, I typically exit too late and end up with a breakeven trade, But anyways, thank you for this vid!!

When you say I’m using the squeeze for exits, my understanding is you’d exit in the middle of the squeeze via the peak, when the next histagram is lower than the previous one. In this chart would of been fine.

I use all time frames, but execute on the 3 minute.

I am a little confused on how you could tell you wanted to exit at the first read bar on the after the 8/21 cross over? How do you not assume it's continuing upward?

the volume selling off instantly is a big bearish sentiment, bearing engulfing candles. If you are a scalper you'd take you 10% profits and be happy with that trade... if youre swingin youd probably use a higher timeframe say 15min and wait for a good entrance there. these 3 min charts are fast and volatile. YOU GET IN YOU GET OUT, less time to lose money

With a 3-min time frame might it be too late when you get in or get out? Is the 1-min too quick? I’ve seen many use the 2-min. That’s one of my biggest issues, watching the candles jump and move, from red to green. Quickly. Sometimes too quickly and I’m faked out.

I use the 1-min but I use the 9/21 ema instead of the 8. It should be relatively identical. on the 1-min, you want to make sure the body breaches the 21-ema and closes below it for your bearish confirmation. its not 100% as you can still get faked out but it's one of main indicators that I use to exit my position.

Also green over greed, so if I were to leave some profits on the table, I wouldn't worry too much as I still exited with a profit.

@@terrelljohnson3639 i use the 5 min for entry, and 1 min for exit.. i generally catch tops more closely that way. This is for scalping tho, 5-10% profit which add up fast . less time in = less time to lose money!

When you talk about "previous ranges highs" are you referring to the day before? I'm assuming so since you also mentioned "previous session lows," but i want to be sure to understand what you're describing when you drew those two lines at 5:00

I think in this case he's referring to the last few candles: look at the top of the wicks; they're all about the same price. That's a "range high". Session high would be over a longer time frame

YUP! but i would use a further out chart like the 1hr or 4/hr chart

use 1 hr for swing trades, maybe even 2 hour.. make sure your fundamental anlaysis on whatever youre trading is good too. No big upcoming news that could throw your trade out the window.

i learned the 8/21 from my mentors way back in the day. Its treated me well. However, the 20/21 are virtually the same. If you plotted them both they would be almost identical
