I was already subbed to all 4 channels b4 she even shouted them out! But I got really excited when said all there channel names bc i was like... Oh wow i know all of them and already subbed to them all! Lol It was just cool to hear her talk about channels i already watched! I know i sound like an idiot so dont mind me lol But i do hope this channel wins the whole competition bc its my favorite one out of the 4 of them!! Good video we have reduced our ewe numbers this year aswell as getting land to rent is getting both scarce and expensive it just doesn't add up 🤔

Get some old plastic pipe and put it down over your coner posts so it won't earth. Double wrap ur wire around so it won't slide down.

Hey Chris another good video. like that flashy texel it'll be interesting to see what he throws 👍. A thing I've always loved about the British farming community is the varied language used to describe different categories of stock, especially sheep, in my home county of Somerset for example, what you would call a teg is known as a chilver which I think is a lovely word. All of these colloquial terms that are sadly dying out make our country a wonderfully rich place to live.❤🇬🇧 look forward to the next one 👍

Do y’all not have t post pounders? Can’t imagine setting posts w/ a sledge. I’m thinking of a 4 inch pipe with a cap and two handles that you can slide and swing down onto the post. I have heard of one serious injury using one but in general you can’t miss, and they drive em quick. Easy to make out of scrap if they aren’t widely available in the UK.

Kris your lambs are so clean? Mine are the opposite this year.. how often you worming? Or do you think the constant shifting keeps them like it?

I was window shopping for ram lambs or rams for my 3 ewes. We have a lot of hair sheep in the area, but most of them are too small. Really nice Hampshire, Suffolk or Texel are pretty pricey. So I'm down to Tunis, which I've used before and love or maybe Shropshire. It's really hard picking a breed for a small flock. Especially when you have only enough to keep the grass down on 10 acres! I may let them go a year and get a ram next year. 🤷‍♀️ (i hope that's a shrug)

Did you by chance watch Cammys video this morning? If you didnt you definitely need to go check it out! He just got this super cool electric fence thing that i think you would love!! You should invest in getting one! Also.. How come you dont like those fuzzy sheep you just got rid of?? Those ones are my favorite bc they remind me of a really fluffy Teddy Bear and i want one!!
