deerhuntingschool.com/ Finding funnels to deer hunt is very important to killing deer on a regular basis. In this video I talk about hidden funnels that can be found on aerial photo if you know what to look for.

Awesome video. After watching this video I went and looked at the public land that I hunt and found no less than half a dozen similar funnels that I've been overlooking. I can't wait to get back out and use this new information.

Another great detail that will tell you and help identify low spots aka creeks or natural watershed .is the road system the company that cut the property made they avoid wet low spots as well as terrain that is difficult.. to

Excellent info Jacob! I only have a tablet, so didn't know that Google earth had features like that on it, to go back in time.... I spoke with the owner of that land, and it was cut in 2009..... I really truly appreciate you opening up my mind on this my friend! Great job on the video! :-)

Really enjoyed this video. Im really new to scouting and have spent the past few weeks scouting and looking at ariels. If I mark up a map would you be willing to look at it and tell me if im off base on anything or I missed anything?

Its called an Streamside Management Zone (SMZ) They are left in almost all clear-cuts where there are streams present. they are 66 ft wide in total and have 1/2 of the crown canopy cover removed from them at the time of harvest. I am a forester by trade there are many features of clearcuts that can be used to your advantage

You 100% know what you're talking about but you should turn the hybrid setting on in your map if not for you then for a reference for the viewer, but that being said top-notch Arial scouting subbed and liked

I'd love for you to look at my place! I'm sure you'd have a blast trying to figure it out! Been hunting on it for 3 years now, first year got a nice 9 point. Now we have awesome pics of giant bucks and then they all disappear to who knows where.

+Scott Rau I offer it as a service on my website DeerHuntingSchool.com The big boys seem like ghost sometimes. To me most of the time the best time to kill a single buck is the first week of bow season. You catch him in his summer pattern.

Jacob, Thanks for the video. Very useful, but also very repetitive. I encourage you to edit it down to the essence. Thanks for the guidance.

Good video but I have to agree with some comments. You repeat some things a lot. I watched another video from Oct 2013 and you repeated "no questions are stupid" at least 3 times in 1 minute..

You spend too much time saying the same thing over and over and over again. You need to edit your videos to avoid extra talk. What you explained in this video should've only taken 3 to 4 minutes. You took 16 minutes!
@JacobSchmittDeerHuntingSchool8 жыл бұрын
+cy912 You are welcome to come and spend time editing my free videos if you would like.
@mztd9128 жыл бұрын
Wow, you cannot handle criticism very well. But that's fine, you can continue sounding like a kid who has no idea what he's talking about. If you call your channel a "deer hunting school" at least act like you know what you're talking about and spend some time preparing your "lessons" before presenting them to the "class". In other words, edit your dumb videos.
@JacobSchmittDeerHuntingSchool8 жыл бұрын
+cy912 I don't know what your problem is I gave you an offer to come edit it if you would like. Now you have to talk trash about a video that you get to watch for free. If you don't think I know what I am talking about then don't watch it. FYI, I have over 150 videos and I do edit some of them.
@mztd9128 жыл бұрын
Jacob Schmitt I'm sorry but I don't edit trash.

fatoumata diallo you absolutely don’t have to listen don’t make me any difference I’ll still kill the same amount of deer and you’ll be talking trash about how people talk it’s not English class it’s deer hunting. Those are some good words for them people like you to learn. LOL!!!
