I'm going to say it. this series with the most beautiful series I have ever seen. I always heard rumors of a season 2 but nothing has ever came to it or has came truth. I love this series so much. and it's has the most heartwarming ending amazing work friend. It was a very heartwarming series for 2020 when I saw it.💜💜

A season 2 has been confirmed and is now in production. It would have come out earlier, but there wasn't enough source material. Season 1 was actually ahead of the manga. It's been very positively received, so I expect we'll get even more.

Such is the way of the human heart; we all want to connect with special people and form bonds that eventually lead to becoming a family. If it is friendship or romantic love we all want to live and grow with another. This anime is amazing in the way it expresses that through people who have suffered and lost hope, only to find it in each other.

I love AMB. Such pretty animation, interesting story, Celtic mythology…just a great show. There is a prequel OVA of Chise as a child. AND! There is a current OVA post season one. Only one part is out so far. Which I believe is supposed to lead into a season 2.

I LOVE the philosophical aspect u brought to this discussion regarding this anime. Granted I’ve only ever read the manga of it up until now; but the content state of Cheise not ‘belonging’ anywhere from the getgo struck a personal cord with me. I think we’ve all felt at one point in our lives where we’re just floating around aimlessly; we live, let we don’t feel at HOME. If that makes any sense. That’s why Ive always had this kind of connection with Cheise from the first chapter and felt genuine happiness when I read the part about her meeting Elies in the first and they exchange rings. That’s when I knew she was going to be ok. I can’t WAIT to watch this anime now!! Thanks so much! For the next video after princess mononoke; I think I’ll pick Link Click. I’ve never heard of it but it sounds interesting. I’ve heard The abyss one is a bit depressing; I’ve never favorited those kinds of emotionally driven anime’s. Too disheartening. That said, again thank u for another great video! I’m excited for the next episode of yashahime airing tomorrow!

Thank you for covering this beautiful gem! This Anime has become one of my favorites of all time. Your analysis is very spot on I think. I also love how you don't focus on the "romance" element between Chise and Elias and are able to express how they are just lonely beings trying to find their place in the world and finding this in each other.

@@AxelBeats I absolutely did! The relationships in the show I really was sold me on it and the fact that Elias and Chise feel like they had to earn one another's trust instead of it being forced. Their marriage doesn't feel creepy by any means It hardly feels like a marriage more like a promise to be there for one another, which I love. I think it points out very well that marriage isn't only romantic.

something i wanna point out: neighbor is used as a euphemism for the fae(which itself is derived from the euphamism fair folk), iirc if you call them by their actual name you attract their attention. so people genrally avoid doing that

Have you watch the OAV for this series Those Awaiting a Star? It Dives into Chise's back story, and in my opinion shows the other thing Chise wanted most. To be understood. If you haven't seen it I won't go into details.

One of the things I like about the series is the opening it has a very Latin American theme and since I'm myself in London American I really enjoyed it.

Other good watches are: the rising of the shield hero, full metal alchemist, avatar the last airbender, the legend of korra, card captors, digimon tamers, dragon ball franchise, violet evergarden, kamisama kiss... I'll stop 😆 I appreciate the good work you put into the inuyasha content, it was the show that got me into anime

I've had my eye on this anime, didn't realize this was winner last week but im going to add this to my list to watch. Your analysis of shows always make me want to watch the show and open my eyes to new things. Now I have a question, which is better to watch anime on, funimation or crunchyroll??

Crunchyroll in general is better and seems to have a wider set of show, but funimation is better if you prefer dubs
