Finding Inspiration at the Museum of the Home, London

For me, as an artist inspiration comes from everyday life and the objects we surround ourselves with, and the little moments. That’s why the Museum of the Home, here in London is one of my favourite museums to go to when I am all out of ideas and just looking to seek new inspiration. If you are ever visiting London or even you live here, I would encourage you to make a trip to this special museum. There is just so much to see and experience, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

When I lived in London I used to LOVE this museum. SO quiet, and packed full of little details. I felt so emotional looking at the living rooms and wondering about the lives of people who lived in rooms like those. It didn't have a cafe the last time I visited. I'm excited to go back next time I visit. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I love neon colors. And how you incorporate them in your work is so awesome! Which Neo color gouaches you use? (Brand and number would be 🤩 awesome and kind) thank you ❤

Ahh thanks so much. Well there are so many brands in the different mediums like gouache, Japanese watercolours and acrylics that it would be hard to list out all of them. For gouache I love Turner and Holbein neons! I plan to make an in-depth video about all things neon soon so keep a look out for that. 👍🏽
