Brandie and Dustin married at a young age and never really developed a strong foundation for their marriage. As they each put more emphasis on career above one another, Brandie entered into an affair with a coworker.

Sad how many commenters have no belief in redemption.

She had an affair for A YEAR behind her husband's back???? If I were her husband I would NEVER trust her again. If this were my marriage, once she crossed that road that stain would be foremost in my mind forever - and she was a church leader. Wow - no wonder people run from church. I still see the hurt in her "husband"s eyes.

And she says "I didn't have the power to stop this on my own". Even in her shame she was head over heals in love with her married lover and couldn't let go.

@@missarabia1875 They sure do, no doubt. I'm strongly against it regardless of gender. A year is a very long time to be doing this and the thousands of lies, plus they were church leaders, plus the other guy was married, plus she did not confess, she was discovered. That is a lot of stuff right there. I get forgiveness because not doing so is ultimately self destructive but reconciliation is another matter. This wasn't a drunken one night stand that was immediately confessed.

I'm asking anyone who sees this message to pray for my wife and myself along with our 5 children. My wife left me along with our children a year ago and the only time that's crossed my mind is to leave this world but I could never do this t to my wife and children because I know what it's like dealing with the only one who showed me love too his life skiing with my grandmother's. I can't do this anymore because my wife keeps telling me that I'll never change. I don't care so much about what she's done because I'm supposed to be the head of the house who's to show my family who God is and what Jesus has done for us. Our youngest son who turns 6 tomorrow is always asking for me to get back with Mommy so we can be a family again and I don't know what to tell him. Please, pray for my family and myself to be a family who serves the Lord once again. God bless you all.

How they found out is not the issue we know if we keep on walking in sin as a believer eventually are sin will be revealed. Let us not cast stones on each other let us pray for each other.

He’s a stronger man than I am. I would divorce her and never talk to her again unless it involved the children

This man is a better man than I can ever be. I would never forgive….she would’ve been out the next day. Hope this woman loves her man until death does them apart, and give him all what he needs.

It appears that the comments that are negative towards this woman are from men. I wonder if their reaction would be the same if it were the man in the story who had the affair.

If you don't love yourself how can you love someone else that's first of all second of all if you find love unconditional love in your marriage don't smother the person don't overwhelm because you love them they had a life before they met you and you had a life before you met them it's nice that you guys do things together but you have an identity and your wife have an identity you guys have to understand your two individuals but you have to have a happy medium you can call it what you want for as therapy because it's called counseling it's not therapy it's called counseling people who go and give words of encouragement for marriage it's called counseling this is weird if you going to come together and maintain your relationship you guys have to give something and work on something to build your relationship if is worth preserving!!!!!
