The wisest thing someone said to me once was:"if you try and plan it out on paper, no one could afford a baby." but it really is the most magical thing in the word, the wonder you end up seeing through their little eyes once they are here is just so so so so amazing. It's. like you're getting to see the most magical parts of the world all over again.

Wow, we have nearly identical timelines?! Married in 2016 and not really wanting kids. Reassessed our priorities in 2021 and we realized we wanted kids after all and started trying in 2022 (I was also a huge researcher and planner!) Due in August 2023!

This is nuuutsss. At 33, after 8 years super happily married my husband and I decided to try. It was during a beach vacation and we got it in the first try, which like you, I didn't even think possible. I am at 14 weeks and with an approximate due date of August 9th. I watched the whole video amazed by the similarities in our stories. Sending you tons of good vibes!

Just saw this video and it's one of the best I've seen. The backstory was so interesting about how you two evolved from no kids to yes kids. And your reaction to the tests show that in your heart, you really wanted a child. I think it's great! Kids are special little beings...hard work but then come the thousands of special moments and joys!

Congratulations!!! It’s nice to see another couple that spent several years together before having children. My husband and I were in our 30’s and married 10 years before we had our first kid. People were so weird about it, I like seeing it normalized like this. And the way you guys went about going from child free to deciding to have children was really sweet. OMG!!!! You’re not going to know yourselves my son is now 13 months, and hubby and I have been married coming up to 6 years ourselves. We got married in 2017! We never ever ever thought of ourselves as having kids like ever, we just wanted to focus on ourselves and we were happy with that. Then we did get the desire during 2020 and started trying but didn’t fall pregnant until a year later. It’s honestly the most best and beautiful blessing ever. We LOVE being parents, seeing your own child smile at you everyday and laughing with you.. nothing beats that!!
