Best feeling in the world. My daughter and son-in-law have been trying for a baby for almost 4 years. They’d been seen by various fertility experts and were told there was no way they’d be able to conceive naturally. A few weeks after they received news that they’d been accepted to start IVF my daughter discovered she’d fallen pregnant naturally. She’s now 18 weeks and all going well.

I totally understand what you’re going through. I went through the same thing quite a bit..my story is a little crazy. In 2017, I got pregnant unplanned, I was about 4 weeks. But we were excited and ready for what was to come. A couple days later I ended up miscarrying. So from that point on we decided that we were ready to start trying. We got through the miscarriage together. We tried for a whole year. I started to lose hope and started to worry that I wasn’t gonna get pregnant again. After a year from that miscarriage, I ended up getting pregnant finally. Had a successful pregnancy and gave birth to a full-term healthy baby girl in January 2019. Then in 2021 we decided to start trying again for one more baby. (my husband has a daughter with someone else, but I’ve been in her life since she was two months old. So even though I didn’t birth her, she still feels like my baby and I always say that’s my daughter, saying stepdaughter just doesn’t feel right. She feels no different to me than my other two kids.) A few months after my daughter turned one we decided to start trying for one last baby. January 2021 found out I was pregnant. We were thrilled as we had been trying for about 9 months. About a week or two later I started getting pains and blood and thought I was miscarrying again. Found out that the baby had actually implanted itself in my fallopian tube. And it was too big for them to try to push it through to my uterus so they had to do an emergency ectopic surgery and removed my right fallopian tube. So that was the second time that I lost a baby and that one really took a toll on me that time. (Not that the first one didn’t but obviously it doesn’t get easier the more it happens). Even though it was rough and I was scared for these things to keep happening we still wanted to try for one more baby and didn’t want to lose hope or faith. So after I healed from my surgery, we continued trying. About two months after my surgery I shockingly was pregnant again, so literally right after I healed we tried and somehow ended up getting pregnant immediately, which I was extremely shocked about because I didn’t expect to get pregnant so fast. I was about almost 6 weeks along. Unfortunately ended up miscarrying again. So at that point I have had 2 miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy, and only one successful pregnancy from 2018 to 2021. Even though it was really rough, we didn’t give up. From 2021 until 2023. So over 2 years we tried and I hadn’t gotten pregnant between that whole 2ish years. Finally in January I had got pregnant again, but ended up carrying again. And then in February/March we found out I was pregnant. I had a full term healthy baby girl in November 2023. She is now 4 1/2 months old. All of the waiting and struggling and going through all of that, we were finally able to complete our family. We have an eight year old girl, a five-year-old girl, and like I said our 4 1/2 month old girl. I am very thankful. I ended up getting my other fallopian tube taken out in January of this year because I am done having babies and honestly I would love to have more but I’m 25 almost 26 don’t think I could go through anymore miscarriages or possible ectopics because that was a big worry of mine if we decided to try for anymore. But I love seeing stories like this and watching peoples journeys. Congratulations and I pray for a safe and healthy/happy pregnancy and baby ❤ the look of excitement seeing that positive test just reminded me of how excited I was after seeing so many negative test for so long. Congratulations!! I had a missed miscarriage too after trying to get pregnant for about a year. Most brutally traumatic thing to ever happen to me, especially since I had to have a d&c surgery. 4 months later though, SURPRISE!! I wasn't even trying and wouldn't you know it, I was pregnant! I had three wonderful kids and then around when I was 26 I had a miscarriage , followed by another then another and now at 33 I just feel so incomplete as a woman not being able to hold a baby in me and give birth. It's such a weird feeling not being able to stay pregnant and fulfill a pregnancy. It's left me feeling so incomplete. I find comfort in knowing my husband didn't want any more kids, but also I resent him subconsciously.
