I had a dream that you named a little girl Melody. Also, thank you for talking so openly about anger towards your husband and what you have done, and continue to do, to settle that within yourself and treat him kindly. I needed to hear that. And I truly believe your ring will come forward!

You're Channel is so real. You don't go out of your way to impress people You're not living an extravagant life. You're just a mother and a wife who vlogs her life. And you talk about good days , bad days, you're realistic. And you're teaching me so much about how to manage my emotions, how to overcome certain situations, how to let go of control, like the mundane things most women go through. And I think that's amazing. My husband and I are trying and I've learned so much from you about parenting and being wife with kids. And like its amazing. the Lord led me to your channel for a reason because I tell you I found this channel by chance. I heard about cloth diapering and was curious to how it worked that was months ago. And your video was the first thing watched and I've been watching ever since. May the Lord continue to strengthen you to perform. You are called for this! P.S also a young wife planning to have babies at young age this is our second year trying for our first child. Thanks for all your advise

Replacing anger/bitterness with an act of kindness is such a great idea! My husband and I have been married almost 2 years, and I find myself being a bitter and nagging wife more often than I'd like to admit. I have to constantly work towards thinking from his perspective and being loving instead. I'm actually studying 1 Corinthians 13 for the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your wise counsel!

Delilah said her husband is really good at helping around the house and is focused on her well-being. Without knowing your situation, I just wanted to say that not everyone has that kind of support from their partner and in those cases being bitter about it isn't all on the person feeling bitter! It might very well be warranted. We can't change another person, we can change our perspectives or our coping strategies. But if we don't have a good support system, it can be so hard to rise above the injustices. Just wanted to put that out there!

Some people need more time than others to recharge and for self care, so I don’t think it is something that is overdone. I think you are very blessed to have a partner who supports you, which is probably one of the main contributions to not needing more self care. But to say self care is overdone, is coming from an area of privilege. Not every woman have someone who is supporting them in their motherhood journey, even their spouse. Combine that with symptoms that can arise after pregnancy (postpartum depression, baby blues, postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD, etc.) that can lead to extreme burnout. So, personally, I find it refreshing when women talk about self care and what they do for themselves, because ultimately, a mama’s mental health affects the whole home, and her relationship with her children. Not saying this to judge at all, but just to inform. I’m a mama to three under three and have gone through some dark periods in motherhood, so personally, I think if I prioritized myself a bit better earlier on, of course not to the point of neglecting or hurting my children or influencing them negatively at all in the slightest, perhaps those days wouldn’t have been so dark. Just some food for thought for any others mamas out there struggling! Putting it all into God’s hands and doing my best to just love on my little humans ❤

I had my first 3 at home! The first 2 my midwife didn’t make it and my husband delivered baby! It was soo special! My 4th was supposed to be a homebirth as well, but ended up going to the hospital, nothing too emergent but my water had been broken for many hours and my body just wasn’t going into full labor. I still gave birth with not pain meds or epidural tho💪🏼. Now, I can truly say I have no idea why anyone would want a hospital birth 🥴 having my babies at home is much more peaceful, not to mention special, and restful as I don’t have a million nurses coming in and out for no good reason. I am thankful for hospitals when they’re needed for emergencies, but will not choose a hospital birth over a home birth😳 Now im expecting my 5th baby and Lord willing will be having a homebirth again, it is worth it!

My doula gave me the best piece of advice when it came to opinions and advice from others, nod and smile (as you said) and store that information away to access when and if you need it. Don’t get offended when people offer advice but also don’t listen to what everyone else says, have the advice as sort of a library to reach to when you’re trying to solve a problem (like sleep regressions, feeding, discipline, etc.). And to remember that most people do mean well ❤ Thank you for sharing another amazing video. You always give me the encouragement I need to live a happy faith filled life and to just enjoy my children and the blessing God has given me

I love the mindset about your ring. In 2018 I was going through the hardest time in my marriage, I was pregnant with baby number 2, and I wore a pair of giraffe earrings that a friend gave me from her time in Africa to church where I worked. I realized when I got home one of the earrings was gone. I was heartbroken but I said “Lord you know how I feel about these earrings, please bring it back.” I decided to not stress about it. I’m not sure how long it took - maybe a few days or a week. It was the end of the day and I was still at work in the office with my one-year-old. He had some food item in his hand and he dumped it all over the floor in the hallway of the offices. I went to grab the small trash can in the copier room. When I did I found my earring sitting on the table right next to the trash can. Come to find out one of the ladies found it and put it on top of the shelf that sat on the desk. It fell off the shelf and landed on the side. The thing is if my son wouldn’t of dumped the food I may of never seen it and I’m amazing that it didn’t fall into the trash can. I have had these types of experiences on multiple occasions. I am believing with you that you will find it. My youth pastor wife lost her ring at the beach on their honeymoon and she found it in the grass at her home one morning. She got up early and was looking outside and noticed something sparkling in the grass. It was her ring.

I wanted to add I understand about the need to adjust my attitude now. I have read the book Fair Play by Eve Rodsky and implemented it into our household. At first it felt so nice that my husband was finally carrying his load of responsibilities. After a while when life got hard I found myself stressed and blaming my husband for not carrying his load of responsibilities but in reality He was doing all that was his and more, I was just stressed and it was just a really stressful time in general. I realize this and had to adjust my attitude and mindset. I am not a religious person and do not believe in submitting to my husband. I believe we are equals but play to our strengths and enjoyments. I also believe we should support, help and encourage each other in everything we do. I think this is what Delilah is getting at. She loves doing what she does and her husband supports her and she support her husband but she is religious and explains it in those terms.

I lost a diamond earring on our 5th wedding anniversary vacation. I was so upset. I kept the other earring thinking we could have it repurposed by a jeweller at some point. A year later, and a suitcase that was thoroughly checked and used multiple times since we lost the earring - opened it up and the earrings was right there. It was such a God moment for me. That He cares about the little things in life and delights in our joy. I absolutely love your attitude and grace. It brings me such joy to see a fellow believer share God’s truth on marriage here on KZfaq.

Its great that you can recharge quickly and do not need a lot of me time. I on the other hand am a little overwhelmed with just the one kid. I feel very unease, anxious, impatient and wanting to be away from him, if I dont have a lot of time for myself. And I am talking like 2 hours a day (to read, do yoga, nap, watch a video, do something I enjoy). I think this depends on personality and maybe mental health. I hope to learn to be more patient, I do want more kids, but I am happy he is starting to go to a playgroup a few hours a day..

As for you wedding ring, I believe you will find when you lease expect it. I lost an earring right before Christmas and I looked everywhere for it. I prayed, Lord that’s one of my favorite earrings and I know that you can find it. January came and went, no earring. I totally forgot about it. Then in February at a women’s conference at church, I was bowing in worship and just happened to open my eyes and look down in the song rack on the pew in front of me and there was my earring and I normally never sit in that area of the church. God is so good and He cares about the little things in our life.

So we had our 3rd, and we thought we was done. 2.5 years later, not even trying, i got pregnant. Still to this day we are shocked that i got pregnant. We had our 4th. I really feel blessed and i love my babies and very content with just having my 4 blessings. I have prayed to the LORD to be done. I'm 44 yrs old now and tired a lot. So glad you’re being safe while attempting a VBAC. I had a uterine rupture during my attempted VBAC with my 3rd and was sooo glad I was in the hospital when it happened. Don’t let that scare you. Thank you for talking about the overuse of self care in today's society! Totally agree. I'm struggling to be present with my almost 8 month old throughout the day while stuck inside in the cold, never ending winter. How do you entertain a baby all day, every day while being stuck in your house!?

I agree with the marriage advice. 10 years for us this April. We also try our best to forgive and be understanding. Too easy to start to over expect and get into eachother when going through hard times. My c section recovery is definitely Hardee than my vaginal birth. Even when my vbirth was induced ending in episiotomy, hemorrhaging, and forceps. I have been watching since 2020 and love your style videos. You inspire my gentle parenting and helped me decide cloth last baby hehe. Love tour beautiful family. Terrible 2s are getting us crazy haha. My newnorn is in nicu with heart defects. It is so hard to deal with and I relate to your last birth so much. Stay strong. Sending love and prayers. 😍

You have been such a blessing for me Delilah! I discovered you in des/jan because I’m pregnant with my first, and was searching on youtube tips for cloth diapers... and I was so surprised when I found out that you where a God fearing woman! I’ve now watched many of your videos, and have learned so much from you! Can’t even put it to words! And I was stoked to find out that our pregnancies are so close! I’m due first week in August:) Thank you for your heart, and God bless your famliy❤️

I love watching your videos so much. I’ve been so inspired as you talk about your marriage, motherhood, and how the Lord works in your life. I just keep thinking of the Bible verse in 1 Peter 3 which talks about how a gentle and quiet spirit is what makes us beautiful in God’s eyes. You definitely have that! Congratulations on baby #4🤍I’m pregnant also due in august so it’s been super fun to see your pregnancy updates.

With my first pregnancy I didn’t want to find out the gender. I thought it would be fun and exciting to be surprised vs the trend of finding out and gender reveals. When I had my second pregnancy, my husband and I again decided to wait and be surprised. I thought I would want to know the gender for my second so that I could prepare more but we so loved the surprise aspect of not knowing with our first that we decided to do the same for the second. I mean, our parents survived not knowing the gender so … 😂 As for boy / girl names, here are a couple that would have been considered if I had been blessed with a third pregnancy: Girl - Isabelle or Genevieve Boy - Vincent or Sebastien

Do you not look at the ultrasound during checkups or agree with the doctor to warn you when to look away so you don't see, or how do you make this work? I'm a sucker for seeing my baby and while a surprise would be cute, I definitely wouldn't find it worth not seeing them in the womb...

@@braria9855 hi! I definitively looked at the ultrasound - I wanted to see my baby! But whenever the possibility came up that I could see or determine if it was a boy or a girl I asked them to let me know so I could turn my head or shut my eyes. Other than that, I definitely watched!

Oh, very true “how can I expect someone who has never been a morning person to wake up before the kids-“ dealing with that scenario right now. I was frustrated the other day because I felt like I’m just as tired but I’m getting up, I’m showing up for the kids. But very true…. Will pray about it 😂

So excited for you! I also loves feeling the baby move and am genuinely afraid of throwing up. My only pregnancy so far, I thankfully never threw up!!! So amazing. But the placenta attached to the front (like behind my belly button) like a barrier, so my husband didn't get to feel the baby move until later in the pregnancy, but I could feel baby moving.

God really can bless us with "impossible" gifts. My husband and I wrote each other letters the morning of our wedding, and I put the one he wrote me in a backpack as soon as I read it. When we got home from our honey moon, the letter was GONE. I tore that bag apart, along with our small apartment, and it was no where to be found. Shortly after the honeymoon, I put some things from our wedding such as cards, sand, and decorations. I did not put the letter in the box because I never took it out of the bag. I even checked the box months later to be safe. We have been married for nearly TWO years and have moved from the apartment to a house. One night, I randomly got the urge to look for the letter again, and it was in the cardboard box of wedding things! Not only that, but I didn't even have to remove anything to find it! There was NO way it could have been there other than God.

I don’t know if recommendations are the same in Canada but the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology considers any previous cesarean delivery to be an absolute contraindication for home birth! It probably wouldn’t be safe for you, even for a future pregnancy if you successfully VBAC with this baby. Praying for a healthy pregnancy, all the VBAC success, and healthy mom and baby afterwards ❤️❤️❤

& girl, whatever you do, don’t give up on that ring:) I lost my wedding ring 3 years ago. After looking for it EVERYWHERE, we started trying to replace it. Every one we got just wasnt right. I gave up and 3 years later found my ring! It was in the closet, which is so weird because we looked in there so many times & completely removed and reorganized it a few times. 🤷‍♀️

Hello you beautiful soul, I'm expecting our second child and we have been waiting for this to happen for a long time. ❤️😇. So happy about it. I just want to say thank you for talking so nicely about your feelings and behaviors towards your husband. We all love our kids as well as our partner, but those words were so beautiful on my heart. Now I think that I have to work on my behavior towards my hubby ahahhah hah, even though I know that we are on right spot in many ways, but still we have to work on our relationship constantly. Sending love from Austria 🙏❤️

I lost my ring back in June 2022. We’ve also turned the house upside down looking for it but no luck. We’re doing a reno this year though, so I’m hopeful it’ll turn up when we clear things out for that. Will pray we both find them! I’m still heartbroken about it. I lost it right before our 10 year wedding anniversary.

One time when I was probably 7 or 8, I very randomly went outside at night time, put my hand down in the soil of a potted plant, and found my mom's lost sapphire earring. 😂 I hope you're able to find your wedding ring! P.S. I would recommend not naming a baby after goddesses such as Sophia, Diana, Esther, etc.

Love this channel. Children are a blessing form the Lord. Sadly, there’s a lot of very hurt souls out there who truly need to heal before they have children…so I get why it may seem odd that Delilah loves a large family.
