After a 15-year career in sales, Tracey Moquin decided to pivot in her mid-30's to puruse a career in academic research. She now serves as the lab manager for the Lednicky Lab at the University of Florida Emerging Pathogens Institute. In her work for the lab, Moquin studies zoonotic viruses to understand how diseases spill over from animals to humans and vice versa.
