My suffering brings me to the end of myself, and causes me to depend and rely more deeply on Him. I have found that I am growing more humble in that I want to do His agenda, not mine. What is His plan for my day, not my plan? What does He want to do with me in this situation? I don't know how I'll have the energy for X, Y, and Z, but I'm trusting Him to be that strength for what He wants me to do. Abiding in my Vine Jesus so we become so One that He can flow freely and do what He wants to do and we're partners in living my life. And there is the place of freedom. You wouldn't think giving up your way would lead to more freedom, but with Him it does. I still don't love suffering, but if I know He is there with me and we going through things together, then I can do whatever is before me even if I don't have a clue what that will be. Don't think you must suffer alone. He is there. He is there making you more amazing not by your power and effort, but by your willingness to let His power change you and your situations. Grace, grace, and more grace!
