One Year before this I was camping alone on the edge of Jebel shams, the grand canyon of Oman. I was surprised by a visit from an old gentleman who proceeded to help me pack away all of my things. One year later I returned with an attempt to find him and give him the photos I took of him. On my first attempt, I wasn't successful- but then I went back and found him a few weeks later. His reaction when he saw me was priceless! He was so happy and excited to see me.
Since the release of my first video with Suleiman, and then my instagram stories- he has become quite famous in Oman. Now everyone knows ol man Sully who helped me.
He lives in a small village on the edge of the canyon walk. If you ever go to Oman to do the balcony walk- make sure to look out for Suleiman and tell him I say hi !
