So michters 10 and an unobtainable dark art picks at 150-200 the only clear winners over 35$ eagle rare. With a $130 1924 maybe slightly beating it.... and A124 is basically poison. Got it.

McKenna is slowly going down in the DC area, average is around $60 right now but wouldn't be surprised to see drop in the next couple months.

And to think, 5 years ago they had to put it on sale for $29 in NC because it was on every shelf in every store. Any bar that had it ...was the first thing on the whiskey list because it was the cheapest thing they had. Such a riot.

Calumet Farms 10 year should’ve been on this list. Very good bourbon, decent price ($75) and very available. At least in KY. Also 100 proof

Recently tried Michter's 10 at a tasting room ($36 a pour) & it is tasty. Interesting how vastly different the flavors I get on my palate are from the 10 year vs the US1 bourbon. Not a fan of the standard US1 bourbon at all, but the 10 year I'd pony up for because it really is that damn good.

Idk what you guys got in that juice of EC A124 but mine is pretty decent especially for the age and proof point I even grabbed a second bottle, I wish I could have done that for C923 but only found one bottle. I'm looking forward to B524. Eagle Rare is an easy win for me I love what I get from it and with it being like $35-37 I have nothing to complain about except availability.

1924 has been in a couple recent blinds and scored well, JD10 has been around the 70's in a couple blinds recently, and we've always hated A124

Glad I'm not the only one that absolutely hates ECBP A124. It's the only batch I've gotten and frankly it's so bad that I'm scared to try any others outside of the unobtainable c923.

I found b523 way way worse than a124. C922 better than a123 and B524 (latest batch) the best other than c923... and its actually close. B524 is GOOD. I bought 2 backups after saying I was gonna skip it. (Did skip b523 and a124, tasted at bars and shares... and couldnt find c923 so it's also a bar taste) but c922 and b524 I've blinded several times and it's not even close. B524 is much better... and most people say c922 is a top tier batch. I didnt hate a124... but I didn't think it was worth buying... and I tasted it at a bottle share next to mostly 20-40$ bottles... so that probably made it seem better than it is. B524 has such a deep complex oak note sometimes, that in one blind I put it in, I thought it had to be a barrel spiral finished wild card I had in there... sometimes the oak on it hits CRAZY... similar to c923. If I had to guess... there some REALLY old (15+) juice in it despite the youngest stuff only being 11 yo.

Love the videos as always, but the scoring definitely comes off as odd often, mostly from that it doesnt seem to match your comments. i.e Sean - I like it, 72... Dan will look stunned (to the affect hes low.) comment how its really really good, then come back with 70... lol. But really, you guys probably should mix up the glasses after and go back through again.

I’m so thankful that with the first two glasses you guys hit nearly on a matchup that I was part of a couple of months ago. I was at a friendly team competition and the final category for best in show was an ER10 against JD12 blind. ER won 7 votes to 3. I was shocked as everyone there was as well.

But yeah... eagle rare is a "get there in 15 minutes of them putting it out" product, a124 and McKenna 10 are the only two gettable bottles here. Just saw jack 10 for $400... Never seen the others. Think PA got a single bottle of michters 10 this year.
