Guys...being a self proclaimed biryani lover and somewhat of an expert I have tried biryanis from everywhere possible. Being a Creative producer myself having worked on so many food shows with one even focusing on Biryani in particular I have accepted all forms of biryani and have narrowed it down to one particular biryani in Mumbai as the best of the city...It's in Vikhroli at this caterer called Jaleel Khan Caterers. The highlight of this biryani is that it will be so light on your stomach that you can have it the whole day and won't cause you trouble. The spice level can be adjusted according your request and can even add potatoes if needed. It won't even leave the foul aroma and stickyness on your fingers. Amazing quantity as well. Must try.

When it comes to Biryani in Mumbai, most ppl wld recommend Jaffer bhai, Shalimar, Lucky etc etc... But i would lik to recommend, 2 places that r Malvani/Seafood restaurant s bt their biryani is at par with best in Mumbai and also what u wld call as "proper biryani" - Gajalee (across Mumbai) - Potli Baba (Borivali west) Also, would lik to recommend a cloud kitchen: - Itminan Matka Biryani

What's Mumbai biryani just bcos the city name is changed u changed the name Bombay Biryani.. The Bori Muslim biryani is called as Bombay Biryani or the So called starlets from Mohammad Ali road

What’s buff biryani with Patra? What kind of meat is that. I heard Mohit say buff. Is that buffalo? If, yes, that’s really awesome. Here in the US that’s the only meat I use for making my dishes because it’s very lean.

Lucky hotel bandra. Famous for biryani ,Shalimar restaurant biryani is also good near minara masjid,naaz hotel kurla west opposite phoenix Mall kurla west

Sorry to say this, but i literally feel you guys haven't tried a proper Chicken pulao, aromatic dry spices rice, good soft well cooked marinated chicken... Gets you doubt a bit over biryani on some occasions!! Must try

buff is not same as beef. It is buffalo meat not cow meat also buff meat is legal and has no connection with hinduism

Mughlai biryani is absolutely unhealthy use of too much oil and vanaspati ( Dalda/Vegetable fat) , Basmati Rice is genetically modified not healthy...best biryani is from Karnataka Hindu style pulav , Jeera Samba rice or local rice , in Pune we get awesome indrayani rice it's so aromatic and healthy and great on gut easy yo digest no bloating...
