Yeah, honestly Alliance has kinda gone "we the good guys" bland.

Horde is for grown ups. Ally is for the kids. I doubt they care that much.

I don't really think that's an accurate statement. The better the lore and game is as a whole the more people want to play it. I'd rather encounter all sorts of players rather than just min-maxers all the time.

The lore of the humans kingdoms, the draeni, Night elf’s, etc and the eastern kingdoms is pretty big and I’m satisfied with that

My man you cannot legitimately think the lore for the Undead is doing anything as well as the lore for the Night Elves at this point. The undead haven’t had an actually interesting lore development from between Wrathgate to Calia Menethil being alive.

Demon Hunters are a lot of fun!

@@captainbenzie yeah same tbh. I loved disc priest in wod, legion made that spec not as fun for me. Not a huge fan of the dmg type of healing. But tried some shadow lately and its actually been pretty fun. Shadow was fun in legion too imo, but didnt play it as much as i should have

@@whistlerdan7718 @Captainbenzie honestly I'm not a furry, the Make Camp and Return to Camp racials are next level helpful. I love Blood Elves so much I bleed BLOOD, but I can't turn down the ability to make a teleport point I can go back to and make rest zone anywhere. And the ability to just chuck some random something at a target is actually a legitimate damage source while leveling. I can sing "Lament of the Highborne" in the Thallasian, but I can't argue with the extreme convenience.

My favorites are Night elf Troll Tauren Dwarf Pandaren Hunter is a nice class to start with, but do whatever looks cool

Demon hunter for melee and evoker for range.

All are.pretty good and minmaxing isn't overly important in WoW. Honestly, whichever race you find appealing in terms of animation and sound. I personally like the theme of a draenei paladin for alliance, but since you're going to be spending a lot of time with the character, it's important that you enjoy them!

@@TomTom-jl9zd this is my point. Every race has advantages and disadvantages, and honestly, the slight differences in their abilities aren't going to cause a bad player to win or a good player to lose. I think enjoyment is much more important 😊

That was true when I made this video, but the concept of Good Guys and Bad Guys still stands, and they each have different questing experiences.

All this does is shows you have no idea the lore of Warcraft 😉 read up and discover on everything amazing the Horde has done, and every horrific betrayal and evil committed by the Alliance. What makes Warcraft so interesting is that it's all shades of grey

Original? The Horde in Durotar were pushing back Alliance invaders, escaping SLAVERY, and rebuilding their homes. Burning Crusade, the Blood Elves (abandoned by their old allies the Alliance) led the charge WITH THE HORDE to stop the Legion and retake the orcs ancestral home whilst the Alliance played petty war in Hellfire. Wrath, Sylvanas finally breaks herself free, the orcs seek to undo past wrongs. Cataclysm, sure. Pandaria, sure, but the Horde is trying to clear up it's mess whilst the Alliance play petty war. Clearly you've never played Horde. How are the Tauren evil? How are the trolls evil? And if you say Voodoo, then surely the humans are just as bad when they've enslaved orcs and have things like the Scarlet Crusade? Look at the Night Elves, most of the bad stuff that's happened has been their direct fault, and Tyrande has actively been an aggressor. You're wrong and massively underselling the lore to see any one faction as good or bad. The entire POINT is that they're all complex with their own views and cultures trying to find their way in a broken world.

@@captainbenzie as a horde main ( tauren druid) i can assure you the horde are bad guys. they burnt down the night elf capital, nuked theramore. the undead alone are responsible for a lot of evil stuff. like i know the blizzard writing team has been trying to make it less black and white but lets be real big dawg. also love you channel. been a huge fan of the eve online stuff you have been a big help. never thought you'd reply to the comment =D

I do still dabble in WoW. I've played EVE for years, and I'm well known for my EVE Online and EVE Echoes content. My WoW content didn't do so well, so I focused on what worked ☺️

Azeroth is a fantasy world, not real life. The humans of Stormwind are not connected to nature like the Kul'Tirans are. Evokers were literally crafted by Neltharion in dragon form, so makes.sense that humans can't be, and humans lack the magical core and resilience to be demon hunters.

@@Patrious_WoW the Dracthyr are an entire crafted race. Evoker is the name of their class. Evoker is ALSO just a synonym for mage, like sorcerer. The Scarlets are just mages.

I love the "get out clause" at the end of the argument - so when I disagree you can just dismiss me as Horde. Did you play Legion? Did you not see how Illidan rails against the Naaru because her Light is every bit as oppressive as the Legion? Have you not read the lore of the Alliance? The really messed up stuff they've done to their own people? How xenophobic and outright hostile to non-humans many of the Seven Kingdoms were? The internment camps? Or how the Kal'dorei originally screwed up the world, are still basically nationalists. The Alliance as a whole has a superiority complex. Wrynn wasn't exactly a shining paragon during his time. Yeah, he wasn't as outrightly evil as Garrison but that's why we bring him down. The Horde stops supporting him too.

The basic point is that neither side is good or evil. They're all shades of grey and to deny that is to undermine what makes Warcraft lore so great.

@@dwux1627 I mean, in a game that has magical time-travelling dragons, a giant demon who stabbed a planet, elves that turned into water snakes, interdimensional goat people, and a sword that can control legions of the undead, it feels fairly minor. And if Gnomes can be warriors and death knights, then why not Tauren rogues? It's about the training, surely, and the Grimtotem have had rogue enemies in the game since classic.

@@captainbenzie Well then why don't they make so that you can play every class with every race?! Hell, why the fuck do races exist in the game? That was one of the things I liked about the game, the fact that only some races could be certain classes. That made the races more special.
