Күн бұрынIn this episode Action Bronson blesses us with a three amazing spots all on the same street in the food Mecca of Astoria. We’ve hit spots in this neighborhood before, and we will certainly do it again, but try these three places along 31st Street, and let us know what you think. First up is the Neptune Diner, Bronson displays his accrue knowledge of a the menu by ordering his signature sandwich. Then we have a chicken souvlaki mid-course at Christo’s. Then to round it out, we have the greatest open secret in Italian Delis, Rosario’s. Bronson tries a little of everything, but keep his mind off the pizza. Enjoy!

I love that the editor kept in the long wait at the diner. Sometimes that happens, but Action handled it like a true G. He knew the food was worth it.

I'm so happy Action went to Rosario's, it's under the radar but truly one of the best slices you can get in New York. Real Astorians know! Hope I can still get a seat at lunchtime...

Bellucci is also really good and Astoria Pizza Factory gets an honerable mention but Rosario is legit the best pizza place in all of Queens. It only gets beat by the classics of Brooklyn and Manhattan like the Scarr's, John's, and Di Fara's. I go to Rosario's a few times a month really great place that is simple. You also can get great Italian products there too. I love pizza lol.

I feel like that's where I'd want to live if I moved to new york. not quite in the mix but plenty to do, lots of good food, probably a lot of great local people. proper new york shit.

@@romulus_ I love brooklyn and can see myself moving back in the future. But it’s way overvalued and over saturated at the moment. Queens is undervalued by nyc standards and more community oriented and chill. The diversity and food is the best in queens and prices are still reasonable. However, Brooklyn is way better served by transit, has better beach access, and better parks in my opinion but that’s more neighborhood to neighborhood. There’s pros and cons to both, I’m just glad to get a change of scenery for now.

Moved away from the city in 2014. Rosario's is legit, but right down and across the street is Rose & Joe's. I'm not even a fan of Sicilian, but their Sicilian slice is so good, the last time I had it, I bought two pies to share it with friends and family. Neptune was never the best, but I guess the go-to spot when people were coming home. I wish I could remember the name of the Greek place I went to in about 2010-11. Sat outside, plastic on the menus you that you drew a circle around whatever you wanted. It was mostly tapas and they'd keep bringing you more food unless you put your napkin on top of your plates. Food was so fresh and delicious. Astoria is a culinary wonder.

God I miss Astoria. Getting off the N train and just wandering around is a vibe. Last time I was there was over 5 years ago visiting a friend before he moved. Last stop was HinoMaru Ramen and we were the only people. I dont think you can call anywhere in NYC "quiet" but Astoria just feels peaceful.

Lived in Astoria for almost 5 years but moved to Brooklyn a year ago. Lived maybe a 3 min walk from Neptune Diner, and would get a stick or two at Christos (thought I like the pork ones more) or a slice at Rosario’s as a snack whenever I felt like it. Truly an amazing neighborhood I miss every day

My Dad grew up in Red Hook. When his good buddys family from accross the hall moved to Astoria he used to go out there & visit him. That was his summer vacation. He would spend a few weeks every summer out in Astoria.
