Oh gosh! I've ridden that trail since the early 90s. I go all the way up to Veirs Mill Park and back to Alexandria Old Town.

That's a nice ride. Decades for me as well taking the trail from Peirce Mill on the way to Mount Vernon and back.

I’ve been to the zero mile marker many times, and to what I “thought” was the western end of the towpath. However the next time I’m in Cumberland I will get a photo at the actual end at the 184.5 mile marker thanks to your video.
