Hey there, Jake here. The ways I have fixed some of the random chatter when you get closer to EMF areas are by as follows. Single frequencies which you wouldn't be able to do right here because you're in Beach mode, but it works if you're not in Beach mode. Change your tones to 6 tone, this seems to work really well and it can give you a lot of customization. Change your discrimination from 10-99 down to 5-99. Lastly try the auto frequency with the machine. With the legend you'll never truly get rid of a lot of these noises, even your cell phone in your pocket will cause minor EMF in some situations. Good luck.

Hey Jake. Thanks for sharing the info. I've tried single at the beach but stability sways as I move in and out of wet sand. I may have to actively switch it over there from single to mw which should do the trick it's only a small section of the beach. I'll change that disc up. I know increasing recovery speed can help as well. Again thanks for the info

Hey Mr. Silver Sniffer, I’ve been enjoying your channel, especially when you are instructive regarding the Legend. I would specifically love to hear your signals and an explanation of what you can decipher from them.

Hey JH, thanks for reaching out. Happy to hear you enjoy the content! I've been changing up my recording style in hopes of providing some tacit knowledge that comes only with experience. I would say it would be hard at the beach this time of year to detect without headphones, draws too much attention for me. When they're empty I'd be glad to, but I'm planning a few park hunts soon where I will have my volume up and will explain what I'm deciphering from my signals and why I would dig it. A lot of my style is to dig it all because I've been surprised plenty. It's easy these days to tell when it's a coin or silver but when It comes to jewelry like gold or silver chains I've found them all over the scale. Thanks for watching should have another beach hunt video out soon!

I’m heading to Beach Haven on Sat., hoping my area of beach has had a few more depositors than the area you hit! Thanks for posting

Try switching into 10 mghz should take care of the noise

Thanks Rich. I've done that before but then I run into stability issues from the saltwater but that should bode well for the dry.

I noticed that you're in Beach mode but you're not detecting in the wet sand. You lose a lot of sensitivity going to beach mode which is why I only use that when I'm actually in the wet sand or water. On the legend I would be in M2 in park mode all day in the dry sand. Just ground balance and you'll be fine you don't need to be in Beach mode unless you have to be. Much better sensitivity to those small gold pieces of jewelry. If the sand has any kind of moisture to it or it's raining you have to go to beach mode.

Hey Steve, thanks for reaching out. I think a lot of why I stay in MW and beach is out of laziness lol. I usually start down in the wet sand and then forget to switch when I start hitting the dry. I've had a few tell me to run park or single freq modes when hunting the dry sand. I'll take your advice and give it a go today. Thanks again
