This month I will have five years sober. I'm grateful i'm alive and found meaning to my life. Intense experiences I have encountered has shaped the man I am today. Life has many paths that you can take; there are gems down all paths but some paths have more gems than others.

It's true.We have to stop waiting for anybody to change in order for us to find a way to feel better.We can change the way we look at things and then things start changing.It's strange that we people aren't really aware of the power we hold within our hearts.

All these so called motivational or inspiring videos are an eye openers, I wish that these would be included in early year (and not only) education. I thank TJOP for helping people to find and create them self and for helping some of us to truly unlock our potential which is (thanks to television and careless governments) have been locked within us since we were present in this Universe. My life is spent worrying what others think of me, and what will happen next. I'm terrible at all sports except running, which my sister will get mad if I do that, because she is a runner. I'm not good in school, and have made so many mistakes in life I can't take back. I don't want to say I have depression because I feel people would say i'm selfish and faking it.

I don’t have much experience at all but I’ve had more experience then some people have. These 15 years have been a blessing. In these 15 years I got to experience life and that is beautiful. Do you know why ? Because you get to experience air. You get to experience the grass and the sky and golden beaches and the beautiful sunlight. You have had the experience of breathing and having this life but still you choose to complain. We all have our bad days because we are all human. We all complain sometimes because that’s what humans do when we don’t like something but think about this. You complain about having to get up early in the morning... some people can’t get out of bed in the morning because they physically can’t move. Some people don’t even wake up and your complaining that you have to get dressed and go outside into the wonderful world to do something with your life. Your complaining that your life is useless but yet your not doing anything about it. Some people spend half of their lives in hospital rooms just to fight for what you have but you still decide to look at floors and screens and waste this opportunity then look around you at what you have. What you have might not seem a lot , but to those people struggling day to day , fighting for their lives, what you have is all they will ever want. So please from this very second take life as it is. Do things that you can , look around you and see how beautiful everything is. Taste those wonderful things , take a deep breathe and breathe in the air that’s keeping you alive and in this world because what you have , someone is fighting for. Every person who sees this , I want to copy and paste the hell out of this because there are too many precious days we are wasting. And too many precious lives being taken away from us.

I think I ruined my health from depression from my past abuse as a child. I have been having pains, hypertension (BP was 178/108 after I went for a 50 minute walk and I was fatigued) and now I am showing symptoms of kidney failure. I am trying to use my degree in Biology to help me find a job so I can get health insurance but things are looking grim. Over 212 applications I have done and only had 4 phone interviews and still no job. I eat when I feel hopeless and I am too scared to walk or exercise because of my blood pressure. I want to try living healthy but my past keeps haunting me, I can't afford counseling because I am jobless, I can't afford insurance and I feel like I am going to die. I'm worthless. A waste of space. I want to do better but I can't seem to forgive my past and take responsibility, because I don't see any worth in myself.

The first line is something I really needed to hear. I've never thought about creating or GIVING meaning to life or my own life. I always assumed it was something we had to find by living it. Its the main cause of my depression and existentially driven depression. I will try taking those words with me today. Thank you.

I want to make serious changes to my life and how I spend each day, but I don't know where to start, how to go about it, or whether I have the courage to make these changes. I recently lost my Mum to cancer, a disease that has visited, or killed every member of her family. I miss my Mum, every day and whilst my Dad is still alive he's not getting any younger, he just turned 80, but suffers from heart related problems. I'm watching all these different vid's searching for answers, or a way of gaining the courage to change my circumstances.
