My soulmate is in heaven..We met when I was in high school...lost touch for 14 years,.. than we met again through friends....and we're married for 32 years! I met my husband after our first marriages failed. He asked me my date of birth while we were hiking one day. Lol, my ex mother in-law sure thought her youngest son is her soulmate.She actually said that!! She would cry when her son gave his wife gifts saying "those should be mine", she goes in the bathroom when he is in there taking a shower, him naked or her in her underwear she said "there was nothing wrong with it because he is my soulmate....she would cry each time he would tell the family he and his wife were pregnant she would be so jealous. I watched her destroy that marriage so her son would act and be her spoyse. I can't believe that's ok. So I would not want that to be true ! My husband is my soulmate but he died in January this year. During our 40 years of marriage, he spent 8 years addicted to a drug. But I knew he was a good man that just made a terrible mistake and I stayed married to him, even though we lost everything due to his addiction. He finally beat his addiction and we went on and had another 20 years together before he died. I miss him so much, I cry every day. I cannot wait to be with him again someday.

I am 70 yrs old and feel that I met MY soulmate in the seventh grade! It was the first day of seventh grade and we all were checking what classes we had with whom. I had walked to the isle next to the windows when I turned around and saw this boy who had just walked in. The whole room seemed to fall away and there was this golden light all around him so I knew that he was indeed someone very special in my life. Too many people confuse true love with lust and infatuation. Not that I blame them, it's hard to tell the difference. The difference is that love isn't as exciting or intense. It still feels great, but it's more of a grounded feeling than the other two (if that makes sense)

I met my soulmate across a card table. He came in and it was my table, we sat down across from each other. We finally looked into each other’s eyes. We knew each other. Everyone at the table saw it. The way Dr. Brian Weiss explains it too is that we have multiple soul mates. And that sometimes our most bonded soulmate (who we’re closest with on the other side) is toxic in this lifetime and not who we’re supposed to be with. And sometimes the soulmate we’re meant to marry, have children with, etc. isn’t our most bonded soulmate. I’ve experienced this personally. I have been with my soulmate since I was 15 and he was 16. Married 51 years. Being soul mates has been verified thru a medium reading many years ago. We are working on our souls. I met my Soulmate/Twin Flame in late1988 when my family relocated to New York for two years for my husband’s work. Our souls recognized each other instantly, and to this day I feel the connection in my Solar Plexus region. Leaving each other to follow my family to South-East Asia in 1990 was heart wrenching. I wanted desperately to keep in touch but , as we were both married to other people, this wasn’t allowed to happen. Wow this is how I feel about one man I met in college at 18 years old. We met because I accidentally knocked on the wrong dorm room door. We had a short lived romance but remained friendly. I have not seen him in 6 1/2 years but I think about him often and he appears in my dreams as well. I miss him dearly and even when I have dated other people I have thought about him and my personality is not the clingy type. I hope we reunite soon in this life as we don't live far away only about an 8 hour drive.

I met my soulmate when I was 16. He was in this country playing soccer. He went back to England we became engaged and then the relationship broke down. I saw him on and off for years. I hope it's true that we meet our soulmate on the other side, because for far too many of us, we live a lonely, empty life, feeling that something is missing. Maybe it feels that way because we are away from the person we're meant to be with, and I love Matt to death, he's awesome, but I struggle with all the "it's gonna happen", "it's meant to be", "your spirit guide will make it happen". I believe we do all have a soulmate, but alot of us don't get to experience life with that. I'm hoping it's better on the other side.

You have my sincere condolences, Jill. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so recent and things are hard for you, right now. My love passed 18 mos ago and I could not imagine moving forward in this life without him. I won't pretend to know your own particular pain, my dear. But, life is going to be weird for a while, so give yourself plenty of slack. There is a purpose there and your soulmate agreed to this life to help you achieve that spiritual growth. It all takes time. Sending you healing love and energy - not from beyond but from Wisconsin (which amounts to just about the same thing).

I met my soul mate just over 20 years ago. While returning to a job, I was lead over to meet new employees, while I was heading to an area, I felt something inside, a man was standing with his back towards me, I knew instantly I'd met him before, it was like a magnet, I can't explain it any other way. We went on our 1st date 3 years later and married 4 years after that. There was never 1 argument, everything was just like it was meant to be that way. My soulmate was killed in 2021 but we split before then. Of course I went to his funeral but whenever I got home I noticed he kept trying to contact me. Dropping feathers around the house, sending cardinals and all kinds of things. We made contact through a medium he apologized to me for everything and let me know I was the one for him and he would be waiting fog me when it’s my time. I loved Gary Zukav's comment on soulmates...he believes we all have soulmates...almost 7 billion currently on the planet for that matter. What about the monsters who live among us? The people with dark souls like Ted Bundy, Dahmer, and just too many to name. You Tube is constantly sending true crime video suggestions, so I wonder about these souls. Were they a product of their environment or born bad?

@@pennPi That is always a good point of debate and I think there’s multiple reasons. There may actually be dark souls amongst us. More likely though and more often people lose their connection to spirit and source and then they become vulnerable to negative programming as well as negative spirit attachment which I think happens to a lot of these people. We just need to stay in our heart because then we stay in our power and we become shielded from the lower frequencies.

Good lord it was such a nice surprise, your topic and you explained it just as I experienced it. Met at a workplace event, spotted him and "knew" that's him at 21 years. Yes there was the separation - family commitnent but i was sure we would meet up again. Years later it was like my spirit guides and his were working together - i started to dream him and intuitively knew - it was time to reconnect! We did, the love was there - there was an essence about him that i never experience with all the many men I met. Wow this randomly popped up on my feed and it really made so much sense…I think I really needed to hear this. I had a soul mate who gave in to drug addiction unfortunately. I ended the relationship and shortly after I had a reading where they told me spirit was saying he wasss my soul mate but “he chose the wrong path” and to forget about him and move on and that I had other soul mates. I met someone else shortly after and the feeling was so crazy. It felt like we both knew but I think we were both scared so nothing happened. My soulmate contacted me from the other side, when I was researching my past life as a 19th-century author. She had not reincarnated since her passing in 1841. Also, they see us continually, so while it is poignant for them, they can't grieve, per se, because they haven't lost us. The difficulty for us on our side is sustaining faith in it, because people on earth have a tendency to lose faith at some point. If an unshakable faith can be achieved, then it's a matter of applying good old Yankee ingenuity to the problem. Much harder problems have been solved. Different couples approach the communication issue in their own unique ways. Abby tells me that while the usual Western scientific approach is not to believe until you have proof, what's needed in this case is to strengthen your faith until you can experience it--just the opposite. That said, she did initially prove her existence to me several times, because it wasn't fair to expect me to "bet the house" on it without evidence that she was real.

I met my mine. He was a stranger but the craziest thing is when we met we recognized each other instantly. We knew who the other was within 10 seconds of meeting. It was really incredible because we did not live anywhere near one another & it was a totally chance meeting. We married within months and have been together over 20 years. We’ve been through a lot. Bad decisions were made, but that soulmate connection was so strong we stuck it out through everything.
