I think the reason it started happening in the late 80's/90's in relation to heels/externals and this has taken over is due to social media mass influence, a certain homogeneity has happened - skin/plastic surgery/long hair etc etc

The role of the Leader shouldn’t be about being the best .. It should be about making others better. Regarding the so called ‘liberating power’ that was given to women in the 80’s and even from the start of womans liberation in the 60’s - this was always to make women a pale imitation of men - women who become ‘powerful’ by being forced into the third circle without realising that their power lies in the first circle and being able to access the second circle ( and sometimes the third when needed ) in order to manifest that which has been carefully understood through intuition and quiet thought found in the first circle. The first circle in my opinion is the equivalent of what Dr. Iain McGilchrist calls the ‘Master’ - the right hand side of the brain where connectedness of all things lies but is silent - as opposed to the left hand side of the brain which he calls the ‘Emissary’ … the part of the brain which has the voice and the ego. It’s the part of the brain which separates us from each other. It’s analytical and scientific in nature. It divides and separates a subject and will divide it again in order to understand the nature of it ( please also watch Jill Bolte Taylor’s Ted talk - A Stroke of Insight ) This is Third Circle energy in my opinion and is the Left brain ego that dominates and crucially is destroying our world. As Patsy Rodenburg stated, we will never know peace until we have women leaders who understand that real power comes from the first circle, that to me is the inner world and the ability to navigate and understand that world so that that understanding can be manifest in the real world and being able to live comfortably in Second Circle energy - the world that at present is dominated by the very male oriented Left brain and Third Circle energy.
